This is an amazing idle game that takes you through every route, town, and most events of all the main line Pokémon games. It allows you to battle and catch all the monsters and get every gym badge, completing the dream of Pokémon. It also has a few side mini-games which complement the main part pretty well, functioning as a way to get the various currencies needed, rare Pokémon and items. I just keep it on in the background right now.

Dwerve is a level based tower defense game with a heavy focus on narrative. You as a little dwarf work your way through the underground killing goblins and unlocking towers. I found it a little long with the levels dragging a little without a lot of interesting things to collect. The tower building felt really nice but seemed limited a little, like you never get enough crystals or room to make the combat really engaging. The naritave was a struggle for me, while it opened good, it continued to ile dialog on to a point of excess and by the end I was pretty sick of the story. Overall I enjoyed the classic tower defense levels the best in the game.

Celeste is my favorite platformer and this free DLC is some of the best and hardest content it has to offer. An incredible extension of the mechanics and narrative, its brutal, but very very doable and extremely satisfying when you're finally able to say Farewell.

Celeste is a masterfully made platformer that gives a nice challenge to anyone who plays it, and an even greater challenge to those who seek it out. This game provides a tight set of movement mechanics that are easy to understand with a hidden depth that's slowly taught to the player over the course of the game. While scaling the mountain the climb weighs on your character and the difficulty of the game is reflected in the narrative of Madeline's anxiety filled trip up. I played all the levels and it only left me wanting more, thank goodness for mods.

This game takes some solid mechanical inspiration from The Binding of Isaac in the heavy focus on both passive upgrades as well as bombs and Keys, all while putting a fun miner twist on it. Having a big focus on gold collection and dealing all your damage with a throwable pickaxe. You die, you spend your gold on permanent upgrades for your miner and you go for more, its fun and a good enough loop with and cute story and just enough to keep me coming back for more.

Like a cross between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, paired down a little for mobile. While it is slightly limited in size, having a little less than either game, it more than makes up for it by being mobile and easy to pick up and play in short chunks. You play day by day fixing your farm, meeting towns folk and repairing the town, it plays out in seasons each containing some unique content. I really enjoy the big compendium you fill out for completion, letting you see what's coming next. The only real complaint I have is that not quite everything is taught to you in the games tutorial, most of all how to quick select tools.

Did you just buy Half-Life 2? Did you just finish it and now you're staring at this in your steam library? Then why not take 15 minutes to play this solid little stand alone mission. The hunter chopper makes a good boss to end of this demo, and it also features the worst elevator I've ever seen in a video game. The bloom lighting added to this are pretty nice as well.

Sometimes a game doesn't have to be 30 hours long, sometimes spending 2 hours with a fun little climb to the top of a mountain is all you need. And A Short Hike delivers, having enough fun side content to keep you busy for just a little extra longer after you've finished the Hike. It also exceeds in its writing, with all the NPCs having a couple of lines of funny and interesting dialogue, as well as a number of quite sweet lines and an over all message about trying your best. The music also holds a special place in my heart, being excellent study music that will never leave my playlist.

Weirdly this was the first FarCry game I ever finished, only because it was free on Xbox360 for a short time when I started really gaming a lot. I don't know if it needed 100% completion, but I enjoyed every part of this neon 80's action satire. It really just feels like a paired down FarCry, not a ton of story and a smaller map means this game is quick and fun to finish.

Man did I enjoy the original Shovel Knight collection, and seeing that there was a mobile Rouge-like version I downloaded it imminently. Overall this is a fun Rouge-like package that includes a bunch of fun secrets, a solid core gameplay loop and a few post game challenges and achievements that will keep me coming back to it even after finishing the main run. I do find it a little lacking, while everything that's here is fantastic and should be played, it left me wanting a little more. Once the few upgrades are unlocked, your treasure becomes a little useless. Overall a good game leaving you wanting more isn't a terrible thing.

This server has really evolved into it's own little game. Having played on this server upon its initial release I was hooked on the fun and interesting world the Wynncraft team had set up. Then returning in 2023 I was amazed to find it not only still running, but being updated with map and gameplay changes. This servers focus is on Dungeon raiding, NPC quests and killing large groups of enemies for plenty of unique loot. It also includes a number of crafting and gathering skills, making it a pretty similar style to Runecraft.

While a solid core of Pokémon lies at the heart of this game, the surroundings are incredibly disappointing and A laggy, poorly optimized mess waits for you. This includes an interesting world with very little depth when explored. This is very sad as I really enjoy the world they've created and the characters that they fill it with, this game surprisingly has some of my favorite story in the series with Arven.

Short and sweet, while it doesn't quite reach the heights of Half-Life, it does introduce some fun new mechanics, but it suffers from the fact that you must babysit some NPC's for a section of the campaign. That does not hold it back and is another chance to play in Black Mesa.

An incredible fps that helped pioneer the 3d fps genre, it holds up incredibly well thanks to the source engine. Though it does begin to drag near the final section.

A great phone game that kept me busy for a long time.
