A really charming slice-of-life game about growing up together with someone and the possibilities of such a relationship: indifference/enmity, friendship, or eventual romance. Through several stages of life and with multiple options for your general personality and feelings toward the characters impacting the dialogue, this game is massive and has lots of replay value.

It's partially voiced with great music and art and the extensive base game is free-to-play. I played it through once with the free version, which is already a very big game for a visual novel, and loved it so much I had to buy the reasonably-priced expansions and play it again.

My final note is that I really appreciated the autistic rep in this game, both for other characters and with the options for your own character's actions.

I definitely recommend it for romance/slice-of-life visual novel fans!

This is definitely one of those games where you need to get all the endings to fully appreciate it!

If you like visual novels, especially in the fantasy vein, I definitely recommend checking out this demo. Between Itch and Steam I've played this demo three or four times by now. Although only chapter 1 is out so far, it's got some fantastic worldbuilding and done a lot of work establishing several key characters, including the player. The user interface, character art, and music are all lovely and I'm looking forward to playing more as soon as it's available!

I have mixed feelings about this game and I'm not sure what rating to give. On the one hand, it's got beautiful art and great voice acting. On the other, the UI is extremely inaccessible (ex: no pause, no skip) and the way suicide from online harassment is used for pure shock value definitely undermines any positive anti-bullying message that might attributed to the story.

Whether it's unwinding with the simplicity of the skirmish mode, enjoying the stories in the campaign mode, or taking on the challenge of pvp, there's something to enjoy here for historical/sim enjoyers. I've been playing it since I was a kid and still have fun with it.

Love it so far! I just finished Chapter 4, the last chapter released as of this review, and I'm absolutely loving it and already looking forward to the next update.

The art style is unique and really lends itself to the horror genre, and in combination with the writing there are some genuinely horrific moments. Even outside of the crescendos, the writing does a great job of maintaining a tense vibe punctuated with some moments of levity. The characters also all feel distinct and consistent, something that I've found can be lost all too easily in the visual novel format.

If your interests intersect at horror and visual novels, I definitely recommend checking it out! You can play the first chapter for free on itch.io and probably Steam.

Didn't they justify making this into a sequel by saying there would be a solo campaign and then immediately announce they're not doing a solo campaign?

I've really enjoyed it and the ways it improves on the Stardew Valley experience, but there are still elements in the game not fully implemented. Once the game is more refined, I would love to play it again.

Played the main story and really enjoyed that. There's cool worldbuilding with an interesting story and beautiful character designs to populate the gorgeously grotesque landscapes. Unfortunately, the storyline is relatively brief in this game, instead making way for a ceaseless grind which I immediately abandoned. If I were to recommend it, I would say buy it on sale because it sure as hell ain't worth $70, especially with all the microtransactions they shove in your face.

The fun gameplay, story, and lore really gets tainted by all of the microtransactions. I've had to move on to avoid spending any more, and I know of people who've spent tons more than me. It's really sucked the joy out of this game that I used to love.

I've played it with friends and on streams with just a few players to over a hundred and it's always been lots of fun! Character customization is fun, the artwork is stylized to be simple but beautiful, and the lore and story are excellent. Strongly recommend for anyone who enjoys party games, especially those with a role-playing element.

I have found this reverse citybuilder to be a very simple, relaxing, meditative experience. As someone who likes to mix my activities, I've really enjoyed playing this while watching a show or movie. My only criticism is that there should either be more content or a lower price. As is, I do recommend it but wait for a sale.

Tons of absolutely gorgeous art and rich with lore BUT it quickly became weighted down with the battle pass and microtransactions around the time it was removed from PS4. It has become bloated and much more difficult to keep with as a casual player due to there being simply overwhelming variety as more and more is added to keep making sales.

Beautiful art paired with an interesting, well written story that's short but not too short and free-to-play to boot.

A fun, challenging eldritch horror game that relies on atmosphere (and a few well placed jumpscares) for horror rather than relying on high end gory graphics. Excited to take on Season 2!
