Broken hitboxes on release and balancing that will make your head spin. A blast with friends though

Good story and major encounters, but the tacked on loot collection and leveling is boring. Regular encounters are also really boring

Please don't let cringe dissuade you, this game is good

Top notch metroidvania

Pretty good story with one of the weirdest battle systems ever. Cheesing everything is necessary to beat anything, luckily it's really easy. The twist is also definitely bot something I was expecting

So much promise, so little follow through.

Fun enough. I have a soft spot for Sophie and Firis and ever since no game in the series could quite compare. Sophie has a better small town feel, and Firis has a better sense of adventure. Still not a bad use of your time if you're looking for an RPG to destress with

Much better than the original. Still suffers from random difficulty spikes to a horrendous degree, but with a likable cast and intuitive map traversal

Misserable, one of the least intuitive RPGs I've ever played. Frustrating battle system, half baked characters, random battles every couple steps that kill you in a few hits

Full of tropes and a premise they could have done so much more with. Waste of time
