I don't even know how to review this one honestly

A lovely game about cheating at cards. I think personally this game excels at everything it's trying to do and everything it's trying to do is absolutely my shit. The art is beautiful and makes it a treat to go to new areas and meet new characters. Another reason it's such a treat to meet new characters is the games writing, I found every character in the game to be compelling to play with. Whether it be a funny encounter with 3 people who have more money then they know what to do with it, or it being a casual game of cards with a young man down on his luck that eventually brings him to ruining his life. I won't say much on the story itself other then that I think it's a very compelling mystery. As for the gameplay itself I think it's pretty good both in it actually being pretty fun and a proper challenge as it goes on. Now overall I feel this game was absolutely amazing and you should play it if you want a very compelling story about deceit and betrayal with some WarioWare style minigames about cheating with cards attached.

PS: the only reason why I'm not giving this game a perfect score is that for some reason I started having a bug happen where it would read A button inputs before pressed even before I did anything which caused me to fail a minigame once or twice

So I feel really mixed on this game but in a weird way. I think the story missions are really fun and give you a ton of cool locations to fight through while the story itself isn't amazing, but it gets the job done of giving you a reason to be doing what your doing. My actual problems with this game are that as cool as the gunplay and powers are, I feel it becomes a little bit bland and repetitive at a certain point due to a lack of different enemies that actually act different and a shockingly normal arsenal in a game with such heavy supernatural and sci-fi elements in it. I would suggest giving it a shot by playing the demo and if you like what's there and don't mind that almost being the rest of the game mechanically without change you should pick it. Because I want to stress that I'm giving this game a 3 star score less on it's quality and more on how I personally felt. Overall I did enjoy the game but felt somewhat disappointed with the gameplay by the end of it.

It's a extremely well designed Russian Roulette puzzle game with a pretty interesting aesthetic. Length of the game really is up to you once you beat the main game and get the endless mode. I know I'm gonna be putting more time into it. Admittedly it is pretty annoying when the CPU is very obviously just cheating but it's not all that often in all honesty and it only has happened like twice for me.

It's a Visual Novel
You should play it
Maybe even if you don't like them
Trust me

Great small RPG about getting into some shit much bigger then you. Every aspect of it is absolutely amazing with the amount of love and effort put into it. The Soundtrack is a banger and if you haven't watched the trailer you should since it has a song which I believe is exclusive to it that's absolutely amazing. The switch between the realistic hand drawn art and the PS1 style low poly graphics helps the game with some of it's really eerie (or sometimes just funny) moments in it. The combat is challenging but not super unforgiving, really requires you to think in even in smaller encounters. Also since the game has no outright leveling system to it, it doesn't feel like a punishment to end a fight with dead party members. I don't have much to say on the Story other then it's good and you should play the game to see what I mean by that. Overall I'd 100% suggest this game to anyone who wants a unique, short, and satisfying RPG experience.

PS: The only reason this game doesn't get a full 5 stars is because the final boss is admittedly a bit unfair in some spots but I still really enjoyed fighting them too

In all honesty, there is no amount of words I can say that will do this game justice. It's truly a once in a lifetime experience that was moving both in it's story and spiritually. If you want a extremely well put together story in the style of a CRPG that will leave you crying please give this game a shot. There truly is nothing else like it.

Don't have a ton to say about this game honestly. The presentation absolutely ruled and everything about it's world and art seems interesting as hell but there just isn't a whole lot to actually go over here. However at the same time it's free so this works out! Makes it a extremely easy recommendation if you want a really short (30 mins to a hour) horror dungeon crawler experience. I'm excited to see what the dev does next.
PS. The music is absolutely my shit all the way through, I think it's amazing sounding. However I know some people who think it sounds just kinda shit.

So part of the reason I haven't been writing up stuff is because of work and the fact I've been playing Infinite Wealth right now. However, I realized things have been a little too good recently so I went out of my way to get a key for this game for a whopping 2 dollars and try it out to see if it's truly as bad as everyone says it is. Anyways sorry for the long intro let me get to actually talking about it now.

It's a very mediocre Half Life 2 mod with some really bad and funny choices.

Alrighty reviews over :)

So, I actually beat this game like a month ago but forgot to submit a review I think lol.
Anyways this game was way better then I was expecting it to be, both in it's story and gameplay. I went into the game with the mindset it had a pretty alright gameplay loop and a really bad story only to come out of it thinking the gameplay was great and that the story and characters were really fun to learn more about. Undeniably that story is one that's pretty generic in some ways along with a lot of camp, but in the end it feels like something I would of really liked watching on Toonami as a kid. The gameplay is great with it being a FPS focused around speedrunning levels and getting the best time possible with a good run of level usually being as short as 20-30 seconds. Honestly there is not a whole lot I personally have to say about it other then it feels good to control. Also it's really more of a puzzle game then it is a platformer, and I thought those puzzles were fun as hell. Finally I'll just say the OST for this game is absolutely amazing, Machine Girl knocked it out of the park with this one.
Overall, if you like FPS games focused around using your brain to speedrun through a level as fast as possible with a early toonami anime story to back that, I think you'll love this game.

I'll be completely honest in saying that I really enjoyed this but I also didn't really understand it in the slightest and by the end of it I was getting tired of doing all the puzzles and repeating the same events over and over again just to see slightly different endings sometimes. However I got it for $5 and I will say if it looks interesting to you at all, it's worth the 5 as a visual/audio art piece. But in all honesty it's just a "alright" adventure game.

So I grabbed this game on a whim as I remembered playing the demo for it a ton as a kid. I'm very glad that I did because it not only was a ton of fun, but it accidentally became my 1st game completed in the year as I beat it all almost in one sitting. It's a very basic FPS but the arcade feel to it is great. You only really have 4 gun types throughout the game but that's all you really need considering they feel great. It's also a nice and short game with me cashing out my time at around 7 hours. Overall, it's a really good shooting gallery with some fun but simple mechanics and a really fun approach to it's presentation as it's being played out as a story a old gunslinger is recalling. Would highly recommend to pick it up, especially if it's on sale.

A very simple walking sim that uses a lot of flipped assets. Yet it's very engaging with it's presentation and it is the setup for the rest of the "OFF PEAK" series. Overall I only spent 40 mins with it and I enjoyed my time.

I'll probably write a proper review tomorrow but all you need to know for now is I stayed up until 3am in the morning playing this game all the way through in one sitting and getting 4 endings. It's really good for what it is, that being a Absurdist Walking Sim inspired by CRPGs

Wow we really had to wait 13 whole years with just this ending
