Possibly my favorite game of all time. It is everything Pokémon wishes it can be. A massive open world, over 700 fully voice acted Yo Kai, a massive story, two campaigns, two playable characters and new secrets around every corner. Definitely worth anyone's time

The gameplay is absolutely fantastic. And if it was purely for the gameplay. This game is a 10/10, but I have to lower it because of the horrible monetization and lack of progression. They somehow made me miss loot boxes.
It's also disappointing that the PvE story mode has been delayed. But if it is anything like the Wrath of the Bride halloween event. I do have high hopes for it.

Edit: This didn't age well...

Subnautica: "Do you have thalassophobia"

Everyone: "No"

Subnautica: "Would you like to?"

2006

Genuinely one of the best games of my childhood. The open world was a treat to explore. I was a MASSIVE Cars fan, and this was like a dream come true. The racing was also surprisingly solid as well. And they even got a lot of the original cast back. This game was such a banger.

Except the DS game, that one was shit

Honestly. This is far better than it has any right to be.

It's a fun little metroidvania like platformer for the DS. And considering we didn't get any 2D Metroid on the DS. This might be the next best thing. It's definitely no masterpiece. But for a licensed game. This is among the greats

Genuinely one of the best games I have ever played. I laughed, I cried and most importantly: I had fun. The story and characters are extremely engaging. The boss had me on the edge of my couch. I was audibly shocked by how epic some of the fights were. Which I never do. The hype was contagious.
As a massive mythology nerd, I also loved all the realms. They all felt like how I imagined them and am interested what will happen next.

I played this game so much back in the day. I luckily didn't pay any money for it. But this was one my favorite city building games. It sucks that the game was shut down. But I had a fun time with it when it was available. I loved the character design, getting to see your favorite Marvel heroes as teenagers was a neat twist. And leveling them up to slowly unlock their actual suits was a neat concept.

I could see that the devs really cared about the game. And it seemed like a passion project for a lot of people. I also loved the end event. Where you got so much gold and gems that you could practically do anything you want during the last two weeks. Which is something that made me respect the devs even more.

Just a worse Yo Kai Watch Wibble Wobble. If that game was still up in the west. There is literally no reason to play this

Am I the only one that despised this game? It was one of the most repetitive games I’ve ever played, without any of that LEGO creativity outside of the cutscenes (which were genuinely great). The combat solved everything, as a blaster hero. You didn’t need to take cover once. Since you can just tank the damage and kill all the enemies. And this is coming from someone who deliberately DIDN’T upgrade his health and damage. It’s just too easy that it’s braindead.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens did combat far better. Cover shooting is a vital mechanic, instead of practically useless, Which made the game more challenging and more fun. You could have dozens of stormtroopers shooting you at the same time.

Meanwhile in the Skywalker Saga. I struggle to even find ten enemies on the screen at the same time. The Geonisian arena looks desolated and empty. It looked far better ten years ago in LEGO Star Wars 3.

And like I said. I can barely find creativity in the game. Yeah, the cutscenes are AMAZING, I definitely agree with that. But the levels are extremely boring, when building something. It’s usually just an object you need. Gone are the days where you build massive things, that play a wacky animation and keep you invested. The game could have just had a chibi or minimalist artstyle. And barely anything would change to the gameplay. It doesn’t do anything unique with the LEGO IP.

Please don’t think of me as a hater. It was one of my most anticipated games since it was revealed, but I just can’t defend it. I’ve played all the movies except Rise of Skylander. Because I just couldn’t play anymore. It was genuinely so boring.

It’s like Crash Bandicoot, if it was easy. It’s good for a tie in game. But nothing exceptional. The platforming can be a bit janky. But it is a massive improvement over the shitshow that was Madagascar 1 on DS

You can play as Moto Moto. So that makes the game a 10/10

An amazing game. I'm a massive mythology nerd, so seeing a comedic adaptation. Narrated by the most mythologically accurate Zeus I have seen is just an amazing idea. He is funny, and for a 12+ game. It talks a lot about sex (which isn't a bad thing, since it is basically all the gods do), which I respect. The story had me laughing out loud a lot, and the character design is amazing.

The combat is also great, it is mostly about stamina management. Which makes it engaging, though a bit easy with the right builds. The enemy variety is pretty lacking, but it only becomes an issue if you are going for the platinum.

The biggest issue I have is the puzzles, they are the best part of the game. And the worst. There were some great ones, but at the end. They become really repetitive. During the last of the 4 main dungeons. I was so fatigued that I dropped the game for a few months.

I started disliking the game during the post game grind. I loved the game, so I thought I'd go for the platinum trophy. Which is a big mistake. The only fulfilling post game are the quests for the gods and the four mythical bosses. Which may or may not have already been beaten before the final boss. Since you can do them whenever. After these missions, all are the game becomes is unbelievably grindy and boring. You become strong enough that no enemy is a threat, puzzles use the same mechanics, so they don't pose a challenge as well. And I was so relieved to finally be done. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and will probably be my last Ubisoft platinum.

Long story short: I love this game. It's gorgeous, funny and fun. But just stop after beating the game, the post game is lacking after beating the four mythical bosses and it doesn't offer rewards that are worth the grind

A pretty good game. The graphics are impressive, especially for mobile. The gameplay is fun, and the character design is solid.
It's a little disappointing that it is a gatcha game. But at least you can get your first legendary weapon and an extra character fairly easily. And after getting those, you don't really NEED any other gear. They are a fun addition. But far from to play most of the content

Overall, this is definitely one of the better mobile games I've played in a while, though that doesn't say much, since the gatcha mechanics do bring it down massively.

Absolutely hilarious. This is the most stupid concept for a valentines event. And I love it. It makes constant meta jokes, the artwork is surprisingly great and it was fun to get a couple rewards for in Overwatch 2 as well.
Here's to hoping we can date more heroes next year.

What a fun little game. As someone who got bullied relentlessly as a kid, this game really got to me. But not in a bad way, it had an extremely realistic portrayal of bullying. And it made me feel seen to be honest.

I loved the genies, I really felt attached to them. But what really helped was that I didn't create every genie I had the opportunity to. By ignoring some, I felt more attached to the ones I did have. I named them all, which made the game so much better.

The third act caught me really off guard. I went into this game blind, and I was SO happy I did. Yes, the combat was nothing special. But the fact that the game had combat was more than enough. It was really surprising. And an interesting turn to take the story to make it less predictable.

Honestly, I find this game very underrated. The story was great, Aiden was a layered and interesting character. And the story was really well handled. The gunplay was very good as well. And the hacking made the game very unique. And it looks stunning, especially for a 2014 game. In my opinion, it still holds up. And is one of Ubisoft's best games.
I'm going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but I think I actually slightly prefer this game over GTA V.
