Fuck you, shitty game, this is specifically for the ORIGINAL VERSION, NOT SUBSISTENCE.
If you played subsistence you didn't play this game as intended and shouldn't be on this page.
The camera ruins the entire game and i hate it so much because its just not fun.
I bought this game on ps2 and as excited cos MGS1 was so good but no, the original is the bad version and i should have known to get subsistence. Fuck you Juicy you cunt

First game I ever played after getting an xbox 360 for my 10th birthday. I barely knew english but I played this so many times that I eventually learned it somehow. Seriously, I played this religiously, probably finished the game more than 30 times. I remember it eventually got to a point where I couldn't find quests to do anymore. Such great memories.

Melee was my first Smash game, and it was really fun. I never got into it competitively, but Melee was fast and really fun to control and play. It also introduced me to a wider array of Nintendo franchises and got me a lot more interested in video games as a whole.

The single player content is pretty fun, but Adventure Mode gets old when you have to do it with most of the cast to unlock certain characters. There's also just something about this game's aesthetic that really clicks with me. Still, unless you're a Competitive Melee fan, there's not much of a reason to come back to it unless you're really nostalgic for it.

It's not the best at anything but its the video game is responsible for fathering the indie-game scene and for that it cannot be bad-mouthed and if you don't like it you deserve to be made sterile and publicly gunned down.

Still my favorite Pokemon game! I may have owned Pokemon Red first, but when I was gifted this game as a kid I was immediately stunned off of two things: the day/night cycle and the starting character being a female sprite!

The Pokemon from gen 2 always hold a special place in my heart considering some of my favorites are from it (Tyranitar and Scizor) and the fun of going to both Kanto and Johto really make it an enjoyable adventure, especially post-elite 4!

I recently rebought a copy and put in a new battery to play again and man is it fun to go back through my childhood like that. Might have to pick it up again soon!

This is the best Smash Bros. game, I don't care about people's takes of "unbalanced", yadda yadda. As someone who ISN'T married to the "Tourney Scene", I absolutely loved it. Especially because out of the entire series, it had the MOST single player content, in my view. And what put it over the top, was the "Subspace Emissary" adventure mode.

I was outright gutted when it turned out the (lazily subtitleless) Wii U game featured NO kind of adventure mode whatsoever. Not even a bare-bones one like Melee had. Nothing. With one of the lamest excuses from a developer as to why, that I've ever heard, "Oh some people spoiled the cut-scenes for themselves online". Like, what? WHO THE FUCK CARES?

But back to Brawl, as stated, I love it. I put a TON of time into it, trying to unlock all the songs and various things. No, the online wasn't SUPER great, which was Nintendo's fault. But the game in general, as far as total package and sheer amount of content, is the best of the bunch, to me. Even WITH consideration to characters added on Wii U and Switch that I wish had been in this one.

And for the record, I LIKE how Meta Knight plays in this. Just saying.

Nostalgia is immense with this one but i still think it's a great game with one of the better postgames. Keeping Megas and letting you fly Latias/Latios around is also cool as fuck

This game is the best competitive tactical first person shooter available. No hero-based shooter bullshit, no no-recoil easy gameplay. Certainly not the easiest game out there, but in CSGO, you, the player has to get good and not your character or your weapons. If you have skill, you can be the difference maker in your matches. It has some minor problems, the game was infamous about its cheaters but nowadays there are less of them. Infrequent content updates and NO SOURCE 2 (gahdammit valve) keeps it away from the 5-star, but maybe no updates are good because at least the game is balanced. :)

Decided to replay this before getting into the Outer Wilds because they share a writer and man what a rough replay. Very short game but felt consistently bored because of how unmemorable the writing is mixed with gameplay that makes Skyrim look like DMC5. Best part is definitely the companions but even they suffer from some just feeling incredibly shallow (Ellie has it the worst which is a shame since I enjoyed her character). Can't fucking believe this game was nominated for GOTY it's so fucking boring and absolutely not worth the time.

6/10

A nice little look at what could have been a good game. It's not bad. There are great low-poly visuals, despite for the most part lazy monster design that is admittedly papered over well by some text logs. The text logs and narrative might be cool for people who are into science fiction. I found the Coleridge references unsatisfying to put it generously. There's a split ending thing that is much cooler in concept than in execution.

I think I want to like this game more than I actually do. Again, it's not bad. That's probably as good as it is though. But it's like, you really feel some personality went into this; some nerd who played too much DOOM and Super Metroid and Half Life in high school got into the lab and really took a crack at something. How no one has done rocket jumping in a metroidvania before or since this game is unclear to me. It's fun, if unpolished and fleeting.

VVVVVV is a 2010 puzzle-platform game created by Terry Cavanagh. In the game, the player controls Captain Viridian, who must rescue their spacecrew after a teleporter malfunction caused them to be separated in Dimension VVVVVV. The gameplay is characterized by the inability of the player to jump, instead opting on controlling the direction of gravity, causing the player to fall upwards or downwards.[8] The game consists of more than 400 individual rooms, and also supports the creation of user-created levels.

The game was built in Adobe Flash and released on January 11, 2010, for Microsoft Windows and OS X. The game was ported to C++ by Simon Roth in 2011,[9] and released as part of the Humble Indie Bundle #3. The port to C++ allowed the porting of the game to other platforms such as Linux, Pandora, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch.

this game is bad and was made by overworked oompa loompas withdrawing from an obscene booger and ant smoothie addiction, would rather sit on a cactus then play this. actually no i wouldnt that would hurt but hopefully this literary device i used in this written review conveys the poor quality of another one of aaa's modern attempts of stealing $60 and using that money to wipe their asses with

Nostalgic views might skew my view of this game but this remains my favorite Pokémon game of all time. Just upgrades absolutely everything about the original and is either the hardest or second hardest game in the series imo.

I really wanted to like this game but it was just... meh. I really liked the templars and the whole family dynamic. But gameplay wise something just felt like it was missing. Overall worth a play if your an AC fan but dont expect black flag.

The best modern Assassin's Creed to date.
The atmosphere and setting is beautiful, it's extremely lovely going around Egypt and seeing the beauty of it, other than its story and culture that make this AC, even if with the weird rpg and level-up formula, one of the best titles in the series.
