An addicting hoard survival shooter where you work for immoral corporate overlords. Four classes all with very unique abilities, some paid cosmetics, and around half a dozen types of missions that I can remember. The terrain is random generated every mission. It can get very difficult on the hardest modes and it is very easy to change things up with mods. Better with friends but playing with randoms isn't too bad.
Addicting hoard survival similar to Left 4 Dead 2, with focus on melee combat. I somehow dumped hundreds of hours into this game. I had so much fun with it that when my friends were done with it I just played with randoms, which I never usually do. It's a good game to shut your brain off to, but there are also some difficulties that will force you to really lock in, and I was never able to really get good at them. Sadly most cosmetics are paid as well as the best classes/weapons, but having gotten this game for free to keep I am okay with that. Also some of the random bosses are so much harder than others, would like if they balanced that a bit.
The smoothest and most gruesome animation I have ever seen, not brought down by the pixel art style whatsoever. A story to get invested in with cool characters. It is fun to replay parts to find the most efficient path to take, but other times the window given to dodge and unclear i-frames leave me annoyed. Even so, gameplay is typically satisfying, just involves more memory than reaction time in my opinion.
