Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (2022) is one of the games ever made.

SMT fans when a game says "humans bad" for the 295746th time: "🤯"
(they will assure you it's peak writing)

Anyway, I think the combat is good, as well as level exploration (even though some areas are too stretched and some traps are annoying). The soundtrack is good too, but I'm not a fan of this style of music. The story is... Well, it is SMT.

36 hours in and I'm dropping it at Ouroboros 2nd boss fight. I'm just tired of this game

This is peak JRPG: classic turn-based combat, wonderful music composed by Koichi Sugiyama (RIP), stunning character and monster design by Akira Toriyama (RIP) and absolutely beautiful story by Yuji Horii.

One of the best JRPGs ever made.
One of the best games ever made.

This game turned out to be even more fun than I expected! Vibe a lot with these cartoon PS1 graphics, anime character icons, funky music and diverse gameplay sections. Funny how this is the second Mega Man game I played and the first one I actually finished.

(Also Tron Bonne is super cute and has peak character design! Thank you for making this whole game about her, CAPCOM)

It is a pretty solid reboot. Not a perfect one by any means, but I'm interested to see how Pieces Interactive could improve the gameplay in a potential sequel. Alone in the Dark's lovecraftian story might just be the best in the franchise, modern-y jazz soundtrack fits perfectly and serves the atmosphere of the game really well. Also didn't expect to see such a wide range of different locations. Hope there will be a sequel

The visuals are stunning, the music bangs and the gameplay is smooth. Great game as always, Vanillaware✨️

Wild Arms' story is so strong and connects with me a lot. The idea of pure love towards all life is simple, yet not that many pieces of art revolve around it. This raw feeling of adoration of nature, human beings and our home planet is carried throughout the whole game is beautiful... I wish more games were written the way Akifumi Kaneko writes his. He critics humanity, yes does this not to say that "humans are bad", but to say that we have the strength to be better. So let's live with courage to overcome obstacles, love for others and ourselves and hope for the future that we shape!

I love to see survival horror mixed with other genres, especially RPGs. And even more I love to see it done good. Sadly, this is not the case.

This game peaked my interest a long time ago, for me being a fan of survival horror AND TRPGs. But as I played Koudelka I realized that this game has little to offer in both of it's genres.

Koudelka is a weak TRPG: you basically just spam all enemies with four spells, level ups are so frequent that you don't even need to heal between (slow and easy) battles.

Koudelka is a weak survival horror: the puzzles are easy, you don't need to manage any resources.

So the gameplay isn't that good, yeah. But what is? Koudelka is one of the creepiest and unsettling games on the PS1 all thanks to it's great atmosphere and creative monster design. I like that, it's cool.

However... Koudelka made me not want to play Shadow Hearts games. I don't like this "mankind is cruel" point they all try to make.

Rengoku has some unique and interesting ideas as well as some gorgeous art design, but the overall gameplay loop is kinda boring, the controls suck and final bosses require you to grind a lot

This is a beautiful love letter to humanity and the very concept of life itself

Great story, memorable characters and pretty solid gameplay. Surely one of the best things made within the franchise

This is the closest we'll ever get to a Dr.STONE game. Love the humanistic message

TJOC will always be legendary within FNAF community. Story Mode came out in 2017 and to this day remains one of the best FNAF fan games.

Cinematic scenes, atmospheric audio design, unique gameplay in every episode and The Ignited Animatronics' design and animations

I love Wipeout. It's Y2K futuristic visuals, graphic design by TDR (tho not in Pure), big beat music and fast-paced racing. And Wipeout Pure was my first game in the series and it's still my favorite. Pinnacle of Wipeout

2017

My favorite game of all time. Such a unique experience even among other immersive sims
