You're playing this for the story, because I don't think the gameplay is that good.
I don't really like the Ogre series that much, but this game absolutely slaps.

Overall this is a decent game, the gameplay loop is interesting overall and the characters are great. The biggest issue with the game is the difficulty curve is unreal. Once you get to the 8th or 9th chapter, bosses just break you attack pattern and can one shot you if you didn't develop you characters properly, which means putting hammers on all of them and developing that even though they are "designed" for a separate weapon each. I got stuck with this game and would have been forced to seriously grind to be able to complete the game with the true ending, so I gave up.

I played this in 2018. Back then, this was not good at all.
Maybe the story is simpler and more childish, but every gameplay mechanic was improved.
Good game, but the sequel is superior.

This game was fun and cute, but then the dog, like, just leaves after some time. That was depressing.
If you come for the king you best not miss.
Everything about this game is outdated.
Played this and WW2 during Blops 4 life cycle cause that game was trash.
