fun shooter, but probably not gonna return

interesting horror/adventure game. dated in some aspects, but still holds up in the atmosphere which is where it matters most. awesome cutscenes. recommended to fans of adventure games.

the ideal arcade game. most versions fucking suck though and the fact the NES version has been preserved in any way proves the lack of God's existence (i am slightly overreacting)

an engaging, very in-depth roleplaying experience that i will probably never play again.

act 1 - 10/10
act 2 - 5/10
act 3 - 8/10

very well done metroidvania. i love the art and feel, and the exploration is solid too. my main issue is that it can feel repetitive and aimless at times, and i also would've liked some more boss fights. otherwise though, really good

what a unique concept for a game. it's honestly done really well, i just wish it was a bit longer and had more options.

no substance here at all, it has a cool aesthetic but there's nothing interesting beyond the surface level. it's just a mindless platformer with mechanics that don't get fully explored at all

one of the most visceral horror experiences...ever? it's like if disco elysium was a horror game (especially portrait wise) and it's fucked up and it's awesome and i love it so much and i want to see more from this dev

a deeply upsetting experience. perfectly captures the feeling of bitter nostalgia - reminiscing over awful times. there are stories in this that are so beautiful it's absolutely insane.

could easily see this in 5 stars but i'm not sure how i feel about the way this game treats death. the core message feels like it's about accepting death, but it falls into a kinda common trope i see where the deaths are pointless and preventable. this isn't a huge fault but it does make me like the game a bit less. high recommendation though.

show this to any pro lifer to make them understand ultimate rage against fetuses

incredibly unique and captivating first episode - the characters are all very memorable, and the writing is on point. a lot of the horror is implied which can make it way more compelling. i'm very excited to see where this goes.

not the best half-life experience, but still good. the game really picks up once it gets more fast paced, the slower atmospheric parts are cool but they're a bit of a drag to actually play. there's a solid amount of padding here which is unfortunate, cuz it really doesn't need it.

the better episode. it's basically just more half-life 2 with some new stuff, and it works great. episode 1 had some weird experimentation but this just feels like what it should've been

This Game Is Made Of Pure 100% Concentrated Silliness
