A pretty good 3D platformer collectathon. It suffers from technical limitations of its time, with a camera far more stubborn than Super Mario 64 or Banjo-Kazooie, and attempts to base its gameplay around physics interactions perhaps a little more advanced than the N64 could pull off (at least in a consistently satisfying way).

It is inventive though, with new mechanics in each level, and as early as the first level some of these turn out to be pretty impressive. The roller coaster builder, that you then actually get to ride in afterwards, really took me by surprise!

Overall it definitely feels a bit dated now, but there’s definitely fun to be had playing through it. As a bonus, it’s an interesting curio as the first game ever released by Sucker Punch.
