8th Gen Exclusives That Almost-Certainly Could Have Worked on 7th Gen Consoles
Are these games really pushing the limits of the PS4 and Xbox One? Personally, I don't think so. Notes will give evidence stating to why I think they'd work. The Switch honestly isn't significantly more-powerful than the Wii U or the Xbox 360 for that matter so games that somehow received a Switch port (not relying on cloud tech) are a good indicator for what could probably have been ported to the 17/18 year old PS3 and Xbox 360.
I won't be counting games that are commonly-associated with 8th gen, but did in-fact receive PS3/360 ports like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy XIV, Persona 5, Payday 2, MGSV, GTAV, Watch Dogs, Alien Isolation, or most of the Yakuza games.
Games that barely run or are severely-compromised on Switch (like Ark, The Outer Worlds, or WRC 8) won't be counted either, since its hardware advantages over the PS3 and 360 would likely make a big difference in those cases. Switch and Wii U exclusives will also not be counted since they're too obvious.
