While I'm gonna have to give the "best narrative game with stats" title to Disco just because it absolutely trounces the thematic depth of this game, Baldur's Gate 3 is still the best swords and words RPG ever
The closest thing we'll get to that "playable movie" ideal for video games, absolutely fucking incredible action game front-to-back with an insane amount of emotional highs. Plus Night City is probably the best setting in fictional history.
Pure story take on RPG's with simply fantastic dialogue and exploration. You could put this shit up there with any Steinbeck or Orwell novel as a simply unparalleled work of political fiction.
As a simple man who wants to dungeon-delve in a cool setting more than most RPG fans, this provides more content in that vain than anything else and it's consistently cool
