2024 beaten

top 100 entrants: Astalon (80), Cavern of Dreams (91), Metal Arms (95), Advance Wars (100)

Cavern of Dreams has some of my favorite aesthetics of any 3D platformer I've played, and nails the exploration that makes classics like Banjo-Kazooie so fun. I just wish it was a lot longer

Idk how they made this in a week. would love to see more of this down the line

I enjoy the kaleidoscope/water color visuals, but the rest of the game is quite rough around the edges.

I absolutely love DAH's fusion of third-person shooting and psychic powers. Should I use this car as cover, or just use telekinesis to launch it at my adversaries? Bonus points for a hilarious parody of 1950s red scare America. While I prefer just about everything in the sequel, DAH1 still has funny moments and an excellent gameplay sandbox

i enjoy ghostbusters, this is ghostbusters.

Hell Pie has a fantastic moveset. Once you've got a few upgrades under your belt, the level design becomes a mere suggestion. Unfortunately, this makes the game a bit too easy, and the game's shallow attempts at gross-out humor forgot to be funny

A fun romp that does most things fine and is at least slightly engaging the whole way through, save for some questionable missions and some half-baked story beats. I definitely prefer Mafia 1, but 2 was a solid enough time

Turning Mario Party boards into 3d platforming levels is a wonderful idea, and the minigames translate quite well to Mario 64

a fun little bite-sized 3d platformer with a unique moveset and weirdness around every corner. didn't really land for me, but flinging Orbo around like a launched rubber band was pretty fun

eh. I didn't find the mini levels very fun. love the cardboard art style though
