very atmospheric game. first half is better than the 2nd

first ff game i ever played and the last of the great FF games. great story, best turn based combat ever, tons of extra content post game.

ashtray maze section is absolutely amazing. the world is great, spooky and interesting. very reminiscent of SCP stuff if you're into that, which from what i understand the developers were inspired by it.

greatest ace combat game of all time. there is no other ace as cool as mobius one. Mobius One, engage

lots of SOUL. you can pick this up in 2022 and still have fun. easy to play, idk what everyone else is talking about

best dark souls imo, fixed what made 2 terrible. movement is nice, difficulty isnt that bad. once you master this game, you really feel like you can do anything

good but overhyped. not very memorable for me for whatever reason

one of the best examples of what a DLC should be ever. gameplay is great, with some new additions in enemies, a new plasmid and a new weapon(gravity well is the coolest plasmid in bioshock 2). story is good, better than base 2, but not as good as 1. overall a great experience and if you don't like 2, you should at least try this piece of stand alone content.

off the rip, the remaster does kind of suck in some regards. the sound issues for one and also the windowed mode didn't work on my monitor. the improved graphics were nice though, especially when you fine tune your settings. what to say about bioshock 2? the gameplay is amazing as always, nice vareity of plasmids and weapons allow you to play whichever way you'd like. emphasis on gene tonics lets you further customize subject delta so you can play exactly as you'd like. you could play all melee thanks to the charge upgrade + cool drill gene tonics. or you can just focus on plasmids with eve saver 1/2. some gene tonics are locked behind the research mechanic which i personally think sucks ass, you have to basically cheese it using winter blast + turrets in order to get them without grinding too much. not too difficult, not too easy. the story is def the weak point here, the eleanor lamb/delta is kind of boring. your choices throughout the game do effect the ending a lot, which i like, outside of that thhough, the story is not that great. despite this i think this a great follow up to bioshock 1 and i recommend it.
