love the pair system, combat is fun and the game looks really good, better than 3H. honestly I don't go much on the story and the original supports are lacking (especially platonic), but slightly improved with the gay awakening mod

yes, this game is ridiculous and unfair a lot of the time but I found that playing with the luxury of save states makes it a much more manageable and even enjoyable challenge - you don't have to be hugely punished for each mean trick Nintendo pulls and can just laugh at the absurdly Mario Maker esque level design, load up and move on.

except the mazes, fuck them

this was a reasonably enjoyable metroidvania, if a bit forgettable and unpolished, but the prelude fight to the actual final boss was so miserably slow and unsatisfying because the opening to attack just would NOT trigger that I lost all interest and watched the ending on youtube.

i fear my willpower is too weak to get past the GODFORSAKEN WIZZROBES

this game feels like it was 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 for me
a true joy in every way, and the fact that its free astounds me

i appreciate this game a lot for what it is, but at the end of the day it isn't a very enjoyable experience in my opinion beyond checking out how the rune factory series got started

my fine motor skills aren't up to this but the presentation is indeed very charming

hogwarts legacy found dead in a ditch

is it really a beloved childhood game if it isn't terrible and ugly

all im saying is save states saved my ass on multiple occasions

clever use of public domain art/music and i loved the attorney-assistant dynamic between Jayjay and Sparrowson.
it's a little short, but witty and I enjoyed my time with it

definitely doesn't overstay its welcome though and I really appreciate the effort put into the artwork and general relaxed vibe
