decided to emulate the wii version of the game because of the Issues™️ with ultimate, and while this is one of the better looking and written sonic games (especially when upscaled + a 60 fps patch is applied), two main issues hold this back: the boost system and the absolutely pathetic boss fights

story gets a bit sloppy at times but god it's one of the best action games ever made

this sure is a PS2 launch title
