This is how you make a great platformer. The world is so open and fun to explore, despite being so small. Definitely superior to 3D World

Doom

2016

Few games make me feel as powerful.

This game was quite fun!
When you know nothing about it, it's even more fun and open to the player.
The puzzles were alright, some of them were quite annoying, and, there were many things that i was like ''HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?''
But, it's a good game. I think Limbo is better, tho.

My opinion is, that this game is about people trying to fight against the government, so that's why this ''blob'' in the end resembles their unit, and the whole ending is the calmness of the freedom they feel after fighting.
About the alternate ending tho... this completely contradicts everything lol, i love the breaking of the fourth wall.

Amazing game that i have wished to play for so, so long.
I am so glad i finally got to.

With an amazing atmosphere, game mechanics and creative defense system, Fatal Frame one shows us the story of a girl named Miku, who goes on a haunted mansion to find her misssing brother, Mafuyu.
As we get deeper and deeper into the story, we can see the fates of many of the people who have tried to concur the mansion spirits.

I love this game, simply because it really terrified me.
With the camera angles, the shaking of the controller, the music, the whole world building and weird sounds and ghost popping up, it just really impressed me.
What i didn't like about this game was how hard it was. It was so hard for me to beat a single ghost, without using 21093819283 camera lenses (of the good ones), so i always had to go to the checkpoints and just get more of the normal lens that the game gives you when you just go to camera that you can interract with to save your progress.
It was really fufcking hard, and for a first try to beat it, i gotta say, i truly thought it would be much easier, but it ended up irrating me a lot of times.
Even though i was in the verge of just putting the game away, i couldn't stop thinking about it because it was just so interesting to see the story of Miku and her progress, even though i gotta say it's not THIS interesting or impressive...
The voice acting is really messy and overall just super stone-ish, but I know it probably wasn't made on purpose like in the Silent Hill games.... But it didn't irrate me this bad.

I enjoyed it!
Nice one, now up to the second game of the fatal frame franchise!

This game is so good, but so fucking hard... trying to aim with a controller ripped my ass off so hard.

TLDR: Oddly creepy boss designs and occasional hardcore JRPG design keeps the game interesting. It's a nostalgic classic for me through and through.

Longer version: It's a weird Mario/Square Enix hybrid. There's clearly a Final Fantasy influence in the general JRPG design and the difficulty ramp up towards the end is clearly reminiscent of classic JRPGs like Final Fantasy VI. This also includes the trademark "this isn't even my final form" memes. Some character designs creep me out and the occasional difficult boss fight threw me in for a loop. I beat the game this time at around level 22 with the very powerful Lazy Shell combo. I admit the game lacks story depth besides the simple character development of Mallow. And it's fine, it's a simple Mario game, so something on that scale would be out of place. The gameplay is great in many ways. Of course the timed button presses in battle add that extra spice to the experience. Also, deciding on who to have in your team is also fun. I started with a Mallow/Bowser combo, then moved to a Peach/Bowser, then Peach/Geno till the end. The game gets drastically harder towards the end. I noticed a difficulty spike at the cloud land. Isometric platforming felt weird at times, so I wouldn't mind that getting improved. I am fond of the sprite art and the odd character designs. Some of them add a feeling of unease to an otherwise happy Mario game. This is unique to this game alone. I remember being a child once and when I played through some of the sections, I was creeped the hell out. Memorable gaming moments haha. I was rushing towards the end of the game, so I didn't grind to level 30 this time. The lazy shell was a lifesaver for me. I had trouble fighting Smithy, but I lucked out and managed to eke out a win this time. Smithy is no joke and I honestly didn't expect this degree of difficulty from a Mario RPG game. I honestly thought I was set once I got the Lazy Shell. Boy was I wrong. It was still a tough match that took quite a bit of time to get through. I admit that the game has its shortcomings, but I cannot deny the game's creativity and charm. No matter what Mario RPG games have come out after this game, Super Mario RPG is still worth coming back to even to this day. Memorable characters, beautiful music, hilarious character writing, I had a blast returning to this old school JRPG.

Really enjoying my time with it so far!

You get to be a badass pilot murdering people with your mech. What more could you want?

Having a blast with this game so far. I love its style based gameplay as well as its superb movement. It's fast, fun, and ultimately skill oriented. There's a good mix of level memorization, fast paced shooting, and fluid platforming. It's the best indie FPS game I've ever played I think. There's a great joy I have getting a P rank in each level.

This game gave me a new sense of power and my life will never be the same.

Okay so, there's a lot to say about this game and not a lot of words to say it. If you're into games like this, consider this a masterpiece. The environment, the characters, the story, the visuals, everything is beautiful. This game had me by the throat for awhile, its hard to stop playing once you get in a rhythm. The mines were compelling and kept me coming back again and again, well after I finished them. I have very few complaints about this game. One being the way the characters don't change over time with dialogue. I figured when I married Shane that Marnie and Jas would treat me a little more like family or at least have a few dialogues that acknowledge the fact that we were married. Whenever I kept seeing Marnie, she would always say something like "Oh my nephew Shane has been living with me for the passed few months-" that never changes. Another complaint I have is the GRIND for perfection. I was at the point where I had everything but the golden clock and I was so desperate by the end, I was just selling my accumulation of materials over the years to get the 10,000,000 I needed for it. It was actually painful but I got really desperate. But eventually I got it and the satisfaction was indescribable. I highly recommend everyone who even has a hint of interest give this a try. It had so much charm and I consider it a real treasure of a game.

also sephiroth is lowkey kinda sexy

It's a fun idea, but I honestly could not tell you what worth he has as a dlc character besides being a meme.

Best OST in the series and man the characters are so cool. I miss you Elena

I'm not joking - this might be the best game in the 99 "series". F-Zero making a return as a battle royale probably seems like some sort of sick monkey's paw situation especially to its fans (I'm not one of them) but this game is actually insanely fun. The races are absolute madness, and they're a blast. There's a surprising amount of content on launch - a few gamemodes, customization options for both your machine and a profile card, time trial modes...this is the most fleshed out a -99 game has ever been as a base package, somehow. This is all held together by a stylish UI and design that feels perfect for the game.

I do think that it's massively lame there's no way to play with others via a room code or something, and it does feel like some things get lost in the chaos - especially KOs, which are touted as integral to increasing your max health and regenerate it entirely when you land one. For as important as they seem, I've never been able to get a KO on another player intentionally. But those two things aside? Unexpected banger, and hope it revitalizes interest in this series that I have not played any other games in but certainly want to learn more about now.

The OG Luigi's mansion will be the greatest one out of every other game in the series. The atmosphere is actually scarier than any of the other ones where it's just filled with constant humor with the ghosts. Even some ghosts are scared in later games while all the ones on here are menacing as a bullet.

We don't talk about the 3ds port cause that one just mixes Dark Moon like stuff into the game making less of the appearance scary.
