I was pleasantly surprised by this installment. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like the chapter system for all the protaganists, but I loved it. Akiyama is easily became one of my all time favorite characters of the franchise. Not a big fan of the side quest tracking system of this one though.

Another fun game in the franchise. These games are honestly a lot of fun to play together, however. Due to a bug in the game one of the characters gets killed off and there is nothing you can do about it. Worst part is that it hasn't been fixed since this game came out. Disappointing.

Let me just start by saying that I very much enjoyed this game. I’m very glad they decided on a western release. Honestly a great stand-alone game and one of the more fulfilling endings in the franchise.

However the grind in this game is anything but fun. Having played through the series i’m used to quite a bit of it but this game takes the cake. The substories weren’t as memorable as the ones in the main series either. I felt like both of these take away from the overall rating. Settling for 3,5 stars now.

I’ve played a lot of Resident Evil games, but I’ve never gotten around playing RE4. So I can’t comment on how this compares to the original. But not knowing anything about this game made this such a fun experience for me. This game has pretty much everything. Compelling storytelling, interesting characters, way over the top dialogue/one-liners and great (and challenging) gameplay. Might try and give this another playthrough soon.

Very fun game, however some of the co-op features could’ve been better. The mini games gave it some variety, though 100%ing is a bit tedious.

Very fun game overall. I think it’s one of the better installments in the franchise, though it’s not as good as Until Dawn. Would definitely recommend playing this with a friend on the first playthrough.

Having just finished TLOU, I decided to continue on with TLOU2. I heard all about the commentary it got prelaunch so I braced myself a bit. However, I actually enjoyed this game more than I did the first. Excellent storytelling, though a bit long, but the pay-off is worth it. Think it hits extra hard because you’ve really bonded with these characters.

Great co-op platforming game! Loved unlocking the different skins and creatures. Scratch cards were a fun little touch :) though the grind to get platinum is a bit too much

Clearly the most dated game in the franchise. I struggled a lot with the combat and side quest tracking. That being said, I did enjoy the story even though it’s super corny. Kiryu really deserved some downtime in Okinawa after everything he’s suffered through.

Enjoyed playing this mystery puzzle game! The start of the game felt a bit rocky (classic trope: not remembering what happened to you and immediately being send off to do a quest) but the pay-off to all this was satisfying. It was fun getting to know the characters, but I'm sad I couldn't delve deeper at times - especially for a dialogue based game. Props for having an amazing soundtrack tho!

I really dig the rogue-like/village building combination. I thoroughly enjoyed making my cult look nice :) a prison for disserting cultist never looked prettier!

One big downsight though: the switch version of this game was very buggy, which made me lose a lot of progress. Latest patch fixed some things but it’s one of the reasons it took me a long time to finish this.

I tried playing this in 2019 as I got it for free with PSplus but I shelved it. These type of games (gameplay wise) usually aren’t for me because i’m absolute ass at it. However with the HBO show coming up I decided to give it another go. The storyline really kept me going and once I found a play-style that suited me I just HAD to finish it. I totally get why this is a fan favourite.

This sequel is definitely upgraded gameplay wise. I’m not a big fan of the Rabbids voice acting/lines but overall this game was incredibly fun. I’ll continue 100% this game for sure.

I hadn’t played any of the Yakuza type games before this and I decided to test the waters with Lost Judgement. I was instantly sold. The gameplay is incredibly fun and diverse - I just roamed around town for hours and the school subplot is just so much fun.

Started playing this after Yakuza 0, not knowing what would happen in Kiwami. Seeing the bond between Nishiki and Kiryu break was absolutely gutwrenching.
