Pokemon games are all pretty solid, and this is no exception. There were some things I wasn't really sold on (the L and R buttons bringing up a help menu and colored text for NPCs, for example) but overall it was a good remake.

Bravely Default was a very solid game. It's about what you'd expect from a turn-based jrpg, but it was very fun and I spent hours grinding to get everything done in this game. The characters and world were fun, and I really enjoyed it.

I spent a few days aggressively obsessed with this game, but to be honest I legit don't remember much about it. It was very fun, obviously? But I haven't played it since, so.

To be honest, I don't remember much of this game. I do remember the gameplay and having a lot of fun with it when it wasn't immensely frustrating, however. The story mode felt like an absolute slog at points, but it was so vastly different from other games of the type I had played at that point that I loved it anyway.

Crash 3 improves on Crash 2, and the addition of new types of levels was a fun improvement on an already solid formula. I spent a lot of time with this game as a kid, and I really enjoyed it.

Spyro was my first console game, and I have never forgotten how blown away by it I was. I remember getting lost in the game for hours just staring at the scenery and exploring as far as I possibly could, just to see what all the worlds held. I love it so much.

There is never going to be a mystery dungeon style game that tops this one, in my opinion. Explorers of Sky improved on the already masterful Time/Darkness and gave the game a ton of extra content that was wonderful. I love everything about this game, and the charming sprites really added to it. I cry every time I play this game and it is so worth it.

Crash 2 improves a lot on the first game while also being more forgiving, which made it much easier for me to play as a kid. While I'm not a big fan of platformers, the Crash games are still very dear to me.

Just thinking about Ghost Trick makes me want to replay it. I love this game so much.

While Silver, Crystal, and Red were my childhood, Sapphire was my teenage years and that has made it such an integral part of who I am. I love Pokemon Sapphire. I can never overstate this enough. Hoenn trumpets make me so happy.

It's simple, but absolutely adorable. I need to finish it someday.

Spyro the Dragon was my very first console game. Seeing it remastered literally brought me to tears. While there are some complaints about the remastered version, I can't think of them because I'm too busy crying at seeing these games looking so gorgeous. I really need to finish them up again, the reason why I haven't yet is because I've 100% completed all three of them so many times on the Playstation.

I loved Bastion, and Hades feels like the natural improvement over it. I love Greek mythology and seeing it presented in this way has been a lot of fun! I thought I might get annoyed at the more repetitive levels in the game, but I haven't yet and I've got 10+ successful escape attempts. I love this game, and I look forward to playing it for awhile longer.

I have a hard time saying that Birthright is as good as Conquest, because it really isn't as far as I'm concerned. Conquest had the better characters and maps, while Birthright has the better story... but it still isn't a great story. Don't play the Fates games for the story. With that said, I've still had a ton of fun with these games, so Birthright still gets a really high ranking despite not deserving it.

It is absolutely not worth it to spend this much money on this game. The story's a mess, the child units are shoehorned in awkwardly, and a lot of what made Awakening successful was completely missed in this game. With that said, Fates is a game that I love dearly, and Conquest is a huge part of that. The difficulty and unique challenges presented in several of the maps are very fun, but the characters are easily what won me over more than anything else. I love the Fates games far more than anyone should, and while I did buy all three, I feel like that money was absolutely well spent for me.
