Even though it's a good game i'm quite disappointed in how it ultimately turned out. It had a lot of great moments and set-pieces but the last 1/3 or so was a total drag. I really hated the combat in here. I don't know if I'm so bad at this game or what but I've been dying really often in Uncharted 3. There were a lot of encounters with 20+ enemies (including guys with RPGs, grenade launchers, sniper rifles, shields etc.) and you just sneak from cover to cover to eliminate them one by one, hoping that you won't get randomly killed by the last one. I haven't been this exhausted by a game in a long time.
I'd give it a weak 7/10 because it's still decent in most aspects. It's just painfully frustrating.

This game is a prime example of what happens when the open world mind virus gets to a developer. But I love it anyways. I'm sure it helps that it's set in a region I live in, which almost never gets attention in games, but it's not just that. The setting and lore has soul. You can tell they wanted to make a game with robot dinosaurs, but then they thought really hard about why the robot dinosaurs might exist. How do humans react and adapt to their presence? How do other biological animals react? What is their role in the environment? It's an in depth setting with strong world building based on an idea we all had when we were 5 years old. I love it for that.
Devil May Cry

It definitely has some jank to it, but for a first entry it certainly isn't bad. It originally being Resi 4 definitely shows, especially in the camera and how disorienting it can be (although personally I've heard mixed things from others in that regard,) all around though it's very enjoyable for a first entry. also, I enjoyed the underwater levels. B>3
This game builds on the origional in the best way possible. All the mechanics are better, the guns now upgrade with use, and the worlds are excellent to explore. I can not bring myself to give this 4 stars or higher due to the PTSD I developed while traversing Grelbin. The final boss also fell short to me, I would have enjoyed an epic battle with Qwark after all the setup, but a giant protopet was not the conclusion i had hoped for. Not as good as the first games ending by a long mark.
Mortal Kombat 11

Wow... I'd never played a Mortal Kombat game before, but when I saw this was on sale for six bucks I figured I could only benefit from trying it. Boy was I right.
Having only dabbled in the "Klassic Towers" mode and just now finishing the story, which probably took me about 10 hours, I feel fine saying I would have easily spent the full $60 on this at launch. Even though I'm no good at fighting games and the learning curve in Mortal Kombat is steeper than most and seemingly borderline impossible for newcomers to get into, they're building on decades of character development here and each little interaction proves it. So solid.
I'll have to try the other games now! And I'll be keeping an eye on the upcoming 'Mortal Kombat 1' !!
