The most fun I've had with a Super Mario Bros. game since I played New Super Mario Bros. as a kid on my DS. I was surprised at how much I loved the levels in this game, the wonder flowers make for some of the most interesting segments in the series. I enjoyed this game so much I was actively going for the secret world levels, I hope I can see more of this game in the future with more difficult levels!

This is the worst game I've ever played. It's really a shame, the ending section was almost fun, but fell just short of being good in every way relating to gameplay. The most fun I had was when I had to use Umbra to go back in time and do a bunch of side quests to levels, right before I ran through the ending. It's very funny to me that the single entirely good experience I had while playing Final Fantasy XV was playing through the Final Fantasy XIV crossover quest. I daresay I had a smile on my face for more than a quarter of the time I was playing chapter 14, but that can't make up for how awful chapters 1-12 were. I don't know why I suffered through this game, maybe just to say that I did, and that it was still bad after giving it it's own fair chance. I wish that I could have seen this game with everything the developers wanted to do with it completed, it's tragic.

It's a very fun metroidvania, it felt great to play and the graphics and sound design were amazing. I especially liked the bubble wand mechanic and learning the timing of jumping from one bubble and spawning and landing on the next. As much as I liked the first playthrough though, I don't feel like doing it again for more endings. I'm satisfied with beating the first final boss, maybe I'll return again some day. The game is absolutely worth playing to that point though!!

Hotline Miami is a great action game that stays in my mind for its tight gameplay and amazing soundtrack. The frantic combat is highly satisfying and makes the game a joy to play through, give or take some weirdly placed checkpoints and curious weapon blind spots. I recommend it to anyone and everyone, but fair warning of course for the pixelated gore and dog killing. The first time I played Hotline Miami was in high school when I had just learned how to torrent and it blew my mind, and around six or seven years later I'm replaying it officially on Steam to pay my dues to one of the most fun times I've had with an indie game.

It's Resident Evil 1 but improved in maybe every way, I loved playing this game so much I made sure to play both characters' routes! I played through Claire A/Leon B because I've already played Leon A through the remake, I'm surprised and very pleased at how different the original game is from the remake, that's why I wanted to go back to these older titles in the first place. Absolutely give this a shot, even more than the first game, I feel this is as comfortable of an introduction to the series as RE1!

Resident Evil: Director's Cut deserves a perfect score for great music, a fun story, and amazing level design that never failed to make me panic. It took me a while to get used to the combat system, but when I did I started having a lot of fun running around and stabbing zombies. I won't lie though, I definitely used the rewind and save states frequently playing it on my PlayStation 5. One day I'll revisit the game and play it more strictly, Resident Evil deserves that. I loved crawling through every room of the Spencer Mansion and it's surrounding areas, and I'd be happy to do it again, either as Chris or as Jill in the beautiful looking remake.

This is one of the best games I have ever played, maybe even the best. If you haven't playrd it yet, go do so right now. The specifics of this game is the best kept secret of the internet for good reason. Every aspect of it is crafted with love.

I played this game on my Wii so I could play it on a real CRT instead of using a filter, no matter where I play it Mega Man X is the perfect action platformer. Everything about this game feels great, whether that's from how many times I've replayed it or not I cannot tell. Since the emulator on my Wii wouldn't save state I had to play the game naturally for the first time in a while, it was really exciting, especially the final boss!

Such a lovely little tech demo, filled with love for everything surrounding the PlayStation. When I bought a PS5 my internet got knocked out the night of, so I was left with just this game to play. It's incredibly fun, I really hope that the dev team makes a longer sequel some day, I would gladly buy it. This game made me believe in adaptive triggers, I need more games to use those amazing things.

Not a bad level in this game, part of platformer canon due to its popularity and quality. On May 2nd before my Spring 2024 college semester wrapped up I beat this game in co-op mode with four other friends and beat it in an hour and fifteen minutes under the instruction of one of the people there. It wasn't my first time playing and it won't be my last, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is worth revisiting every once in a while. Games like these that bring people together like that are a special thing, and it deserves all five stars because of that.

Brawl is an overhated game and I find it to be a very fun time and a great game to play at a gathering or by oneself to an extent. One summer I hunkered down and played through all of Subspace Emissary because I wanted all of the characters unlocked for when I played against my family, I must have been 13 or 14 at the time. The story mode makes up for the bulk of my love of Brawl, but the gameplay itself is super fun, I love the stages and the music and the retro game trials, all of it, this game will always hold a special place in my heart. I will admit my score is probably inflated by nostalgia, I won't discount the influence Brawl had on me, instilling a love of fighting games when I couldn't have been older than 8 years old. The value of a long single player mode in a fighting game must not be overlooked!

The first time I played this was in a friend's apartment in the midst of playing several 2 player games, the competitive mode is super fun and I love using the dog as a weapon. Later on I played about two hours of this game off of a copy I rented from my local library, it was delightful, even in handheld mode I had so much fun. The game looks and sounds good, I think the character creation is cool, I just can't spend $60 on it right now, but hopefully in the future!

It's a fun game for a while, and I really enjoy the mechanics and the design of the underworld, but it just doesn't have the lasting power of Lethal Company, I don't feel the want to play this game for more than 30 minutes. I wonder what's missing.

I can certainly see why so many people love this game. It's quick, it feels brutal and visceral and snappy and it looks great and sounds amazing. My single gripe is the frame rate, which I definitely got over when this became the only game I was playing for a month. I was reluctant the first time I tried to play it, and the second and third time too, I just couldn't get used to how it felt. And then I had to restart the game on my roommate's PS4 because I never uploaded my save data, and that was finally the playthrough to take me to the end. The truest ending too, I went all the way with Bloodborne and I recommend other people do too. My personal favorite weapon was the saw spear, I loved the gargoyle halberd in DS1 and when I saw a spear in this game it was love at first sight, even if I barely ever used the full spear form. If you own a PS4 or above, go buy and play this game. If Sony ever puts it on PC, I'll buy it in a heartbeat and do the DLC too, I couldn't buy the complete edition when it was on sale because I already had the base game through PS Plus unfortunately.

Overall it's more of the great Armored Core 3. It's a bit shorter and the missions can be tougher, but I never felt like it was an unfair game. I will say that the amount of double AC ambsuhes is a little high. This game taught me to prioritize the mission objective and start running past enemies for a reason. More of a great thing is great, give it a look once you finish Armored Core 3!
