Recent games with unlockable cosmetics
I love this shit when playing a game and getting new outfits to wear during and after the game. DLC has kinda ruined this in many modern games but they still happen from time to time and even with long standing series that will get representation here. Also no fighting games as costumes are a given for the genre or online multiplayer shooters that monetize them as loot boxes. Counting games from 2017 to right now.

fully unlockable armor sets but the bonuses from each are always applied even if you aren't wearing the fit with the bonus.

Transmog system that has an option to set cosmetic armor you want to wear as Jack's appearance and not having the actual armor set worn be shown.

There are a lot of costumes that can bought in game at the shop. The costumes are too expensive though and it has ones locked to dlc and amiibo.

Not technically cosmetics as they are linked with Armor sets and many are also dlc/amiibo.
Has cosmetics for the armor through the transmog/change appearance option like stranger of paradise but it is really late in the game. This is only possible through upgrading every armor piece to level 9 and can only be done late game for some.

Same as breath of the wild with cosmetics as armor sets with stats and then sets limited to dlc and amiibo.

they exist, such a downgrade from bayo 2 though going from a princess peach, zelda, samus, past bayos and other stuff to only a few fits of bayo from the different timelines and just color variants.
