If you're reading this it's too late

Now this is an anniversary present, Sonic’s 20th anniversary is one of the best anniversaries for a video game franchise ever. What a treat for us, this game is amazing.

The game like any Sonic, has an amazing soundtrack, and also the art style is awesome, it continues off of unleashed basically, and the game in terms of day levels is unleashed upgraded in every way. This is what Sonic The Hedgehog 4, and Sonic 06 shouldve been.

The gameplay and animations are amazing, although the animations mainly for classic sonic feel off a little bit. Modern Sonic plays well, super fast and fun the GOOD parts of unleashed. Classic is what classic should be in modern day.

Cute and interesting story, kinda back to the roots, one of the best multiverse stories its so awesome. Beautiful cinematics as well. Love the classic and modern interactions between characters and the dialogue is really good.

Really simple ui no opening cutscene for the story, UI is good tho nice design but feels a little unfinished. Cute loading screens and extras little things like that add up. Omochao is annoying why is the hand-holding necessary. Please stop. Sick and tired of reusing zones although the gameplay makes them fun.

Similar to unleashed where ur locked off from progressing and u have to do challenges in the same stages, it's kinda fine here since the core gameplay is good but annoying.

Classic sonic got violated LOL he gained weight chubby like Knuckles said, Metal Sonic v classic sonic was awesome even modern vs shadow nice bosses although a little simple. Love all the stages as well and the callbacks.

Overall, Sonic Generations will always be remembered as a beacon of light during Sonic’s toughest period, its overall a great and fun game that needed a little more polish, a little more budget and a few dots to connect but its so solid. I loved the time I spent with the game and would come back to it regardless of its issues, that could be resolved fairly easily but unfortunately exist, because the game reaches perfection so many times. I also just wish it was longer and packed with a little more content.

RE5 is a fun game but is a complete step down from the amazing and arguably greatest game of all time RE4. Although I enjoyed my time with the game, it’s plagued with issues that I couldn’t overlook and just goes backward from RE4.

The coop campaign is awesome, I hate how the screen is cut off though if on local. Honestly I would say don’t even bother playing this alone, the game is worse alone.

Great tone, setting, graphics and art direction is beautiful still holds up.

Great controls, they’re like RE4. Inventory is a huge downgrade, although a shared inventory is a great idea, design of the UI itself can be improved.

Too many enemies feels generic most of the gameplay, so much mindless action, RE is still in there but a lot of it is gone unfortunately.

Wesker carries the game hard, his boss encounters and dialogue and cutscenes are peak RE, even Chris at times. Sheva is cool she’s not Jill but she grows on you. Jill is so real btw, also her writing and role was kinda wasted in this game.

Feels like a RE4 but worse most of the time, virus is similar, enemies are similar, feels cheap.

Too many loading screens
Unfair checkpoints at times
Bad puzzles
Terrible revive animations and crowd control sucks.
Not scary
No atmosphere
Just not very RE and way too action focused.

Cool death screens, super gorey.

RE4 references; Kennedy report, Las Plagas is awesome. Wish they tied it in more.

Dogs are sick, they got chainsaw dude not man from RE4, Ogres are sick once again, I liked the enemies but too much like RE4.

Overall, I enjoyed the game but its a complete step down and only worth playing coop. Some cool stuff in here but this is where the decline of RE started. Hopefully the remake makes this much better as there was a lot of potential here.

Wowwwwww. There's no surprise playing this game and it being amazing. I can see why people hold it in such high regard and have great memories from the Dreamcast days from it, and it being one of the goat games on Dreamcast next to Sonic Adventure 2.

The games art style and direction is perfection. Soundtrack? Come on, you probably have already heard about it, it's amazing.

Gameplay mechanics, tough but fair. Can’t wait to see the improvements and additions in JSRF but man is it solid.

Story is cool, turf war for graffiti funny cop guy and cops chase you and people join our squad and challenge you after doing missions, different factions are unique and interesting.

Enemy variety is sick, SWAT team with gas, dogs that slowly pinch ur health and biker cops. Very creative. Whole game oozes with creativity and originality.

All the stages are completely different and just fun and amazingly designed. Kogane stood out to me and it's track but the Love Handle ones I forgot what they were called that stage was awesome too hardest one for me and really made me learn the game and explore and use my style. It’s a tough game but so rewarding. Aged amazingly

Noise reduction hardest stage btw killed me.

Banger. One of the goats.

I'm happy, so happy actually to say Sonic Frontiers is a good game, a great game at times a matter a fact.

SONIC IS BACK BABY! And I hope Sega keeps it up and I am excited for the release of Sonic Superstars, and hopefully Frontiers 2 assuming they are keeping and polishing this formula and gameplay further as it is very solid.

Frontiers has an epic soundtrack, one of the best in the franchise and gives you vibes of all the best games in this legendary, rocky series.

The art style was nice, felt modern and cartoony but not too cartoony like Forces. The character designs were really nice for everyone, Sonic looks amazing and I really liked Amy’s design as well.

The game has a solid opening, and a more mature tone which is such a nice change of pace. The game has serious moments, but knows how to implement Sonic and co’s humor and man it just felt so good.

Level design is a little weird but it’s fun and fast, it does feel unfinished (the game as a whole) at times but the way Sonic moves and plays is just so fun. Literally on flat surfaces just moving as Sonic is just so fun. Sonics ability’s are so freaking awesome as well, the combat is phenomenal, it gets repetitive but there’s cinematic moves and moves that just look so cool and you can do combos it’s so sick. Just fighting enemies is so solid they made a great combat system.

Boss fights were freaking awesome, they could’ve been more creative with them but they were generally fun even if a little mind numbing the music and playing as Super Sonic was so fun he really feels OP like he should. Final boss sucked tho, awesome cinematics though and wholesome.

Portal levels are dope. Very solid, I wish they were a little longer though.

Sandbox is awesome, Sonic 06 if it was good and its like a magical mystical run all over this historical island type place. But again, it feels unfinished and just seems like it needed more polish.

Great dialogue, story is weird though but gets better as you play. Amazing cutscenes too.

Kokos lol, cute but get annoying to collect.

Not Sonic Odyssey, but it is? Honestly the next one should be like Odyssey, it feels like that sometimes playing it but its not exactly the same.

Power boost is insane btw.

Father😭 Eggman making moves. Deep story at times too.

Knuckles characterization was dope, love the cute Koko soldiers and how he rememberer how he and Sonic met first and they're friends. Amy at the end of the story with Sonic was so cute too. Tails and Sonic are always bros.

Overall, Frontiers is an unexpected, but relieving return to form for one of my favourite franchises. It is almost the one we deserved, the game comes close to a 9/10 and 10/10 at times, and although I enjoyed the game I can not give it a higher than a 8/10. The game launched poorly, had tons of performance issues and bugs, and had patches for things that should have been in there in the first place. The additional dlc being free is very nice and gives incentive to return and shows they truly care which I appreciate.

I enjoyed this game, can’t wait to come back to it for the dlc, and platinum it, and lets hope Sonic keeps speeding ahead as he should.

Sonic Unleashed is a very very good Sonic game. It had the potential to be the best and got so close at times, but unfortunately it gets held back by the night levels.

The day levels are unbelievably good, they're exhilarating beautifully designed and fast. You just wanna keep playing them and replaying them. So freaking good it's euphoric honestly. Literally Sonic 06 if it was good.

The night levels on the other hand are horrible, slow, and the gameplay is just so mindless and combos are not good and it's just too repetitive. The concept is cool but it needed a lot more work to make it work. Just yikes... way too slow, combat doesn't feel smooth, and just feels pointless for the most part. Why Sonic Team? Why?? I'm all for experimentation but come on. Very boring, spammy, and long for no reason. Stupid puzzles as well.

Great animations in both day and night, physics are awesome, controls are smooth.

Reused stages but its excusable they feel very different in both day and night.

Making medals mandatory to unlock levels is a stupid decision aswell.

The opening of this game was so good, the CGI cutscene is the best one since Shadow the Hedgehog, Super Sonic is the goat. So cool, but then... Furry Sonic... They could have done a better job on how he became a werewolf, all I could think of was that one Ben 10 episode of the og season where he becomes a werewolf and it was done so well but this he just becomes one through the machine somehow.

The story is somewhat interesting, but just ends up being a afterthought.

The game is beautiful, love the soundtrack (Sonic games never miss), art style and direction still holds up today.

The rpg mechanics are very meh, dialogue is good for the most part it's cute a little rough at times, Amy was funny LOL liked her and Sonics interactions alot.

Theres a odd doorbell sound they use a lot and it sucks and is annoying.

The open world aspect which kinda rips off Adventure is meh too. But it's more of a
hub world here which is kinda bad tbh it feels pointless.

Tornado missions are bad reminds me of some of the missions where u fly in Adventure 1 but way too linear, long, and just mindless it's boring.

So many good day stages honestly carried the game, cool edge, Dragon way, skyscraper scamper. But it still feels like half a game since night is horrible.

Final boss was good, all the bosses were for the most part and I really liked the enemy designs.

Overall, Sonic Unleashed is half a blast, but the half that is good is SO GOOD. And the half that is bad is just bad, but it makes playing the good worth it. I was gonna give it a 6 but the day levels carry the game, if only Sonic team polished this game some more and made the night levels more fun along the lines of a DMC Sonic game, it easily could've been the best Sonic game.

7/10

Sonic Forces is a bad joke. What shouldve been the ultimate game in the franchise, ended up being the worst right next to Sonic 06. A huge waste of potential, and time.

The game is ugly. It has a horrible artstyle, looks low budget and just plain cheap. Nothing unique and good looking about it other than a couple stages.

The lack of modes, and playable characters is hilarious. That's it. Hilarious. Super Sonic DLC. Lol. Lack of mechanics and innovation and control features that should be here.

The game also just starts, and sometimes there's no cutscenes and dialogue, it just feels unfinished and unpolished.

Too cinematic and no control, should have played like unleashed. It plays like absolute shit some of the worst and boring hand held controls ever rage inducing on certain stages. Bad level design makes it worse.

Like I legit have Sonic 06 PTSD triggered from this game, but at least this game is playable idk if that's a good thing.

The Rouge gallery was cool seeing all the villians together, and hero's too. Seeing the together for the first time in what feels like so long was nice

Custom cac concept is cool doesnt work tho. Unfinished.

Cool cinematics in the middle of the missions.

Again, just poor gameplay and mechanics. So boring, unleashed was thrilling this isnt, even 06 had some. I only felt nice on a few stages like 1-2.

Short forgettable, and same levels. Garbage.

Feels like unleashed and generations but "all the life sucked out of it"

Classic Sonic GOAT

Too slow and less control, could've been good. Animations aren't bad good idea of what a modern 2d classic sonic game could and should've been like, but still generations exists.

Some of the dialogue between the characters and interactions are pretty good ngl.

Super Sonic sucks somehow how is that possible.

Prison cell zone.

Soundtrack is fire bruh can't lie. Like oh my days they can't miss. Honestly worse the game is better the soundtrack. I was vibing.

Zavok is kinda cool, boss fight sucked .

Duo missions and double boost is sick cool concept. Green Hill Pyramid was exliarating, decent to good level design then immediately shit and gimicky and so repetitive.

Mystic jungle zone 1 was fun cool snake fight too short though.

Final boss sucks, final phase is ok I guess cool concept.

Yeah shit game. Not even worth one playthrough. Rage inducing, heartbreaking, and just boring. I hope frontiers is good it has to be for my sanity.

Street Fighter 6, is an amazing experience and a wonderfully crafted fighting game. It is one of the most complete fighting games to come out, and a great launch and return to form from Street Fighter V.

SF6 is a complete game. Thankfully. The new aesthetic is beautiful, and the art direction of the cartoony style mixed with realism is just stunning.

It's filled with beautiful stages, an amazing soundtrack, and great modern costume designs for each character old and new.

The UI is super simple and clean and intuitive, and it's a huge step up.

The game is very helpful for players old and new, and just finally feels like a Street Fighter everyone can get into, like my friend played a couple games and he was hooked and bought it when he went home, that's how you know it's a great game.

All the characters classic outfits, moves and more are carefully crafted and each character is super fun to play. Even the modern designs have become an instant hit.

SF6 feels finished and polished, it has a story mode, multiplayer, cool modes, and a 18 character roster. And a good amount of beautifully created stages.

The story mode which is the world tour is surprisingly good. You can make a custom character (and the customisation is actually insane and very good) and you explore Metro City post SFV and Bison. It's kind of like Jump Forces story but actually good. You get to interact with legendary fighters and see how they evolved and you can learn their moves and have conversations with them. It's quite fun. You can also just scrap people on the street like it's New York. It may not be a amazing story mode with cinematics like Netherrealms Mortal Kombat, however it is fun, a solid one, and creative. The hub world is also great here, ties everything together and has lots of extra stuff you can do, you can even play retro Capcom games like SF1!

AND CROSSPLAY BETWEEN ALL PLATFORMS WOOWWWW!

Now my complaints with the game, because as reviews say this game is perfect and the best SF, it may be the best one in some people's opinions, but it still has a little bit more to go to be perfect. Not a lot but yeah.

First thing, an 18 character roster is still quite small. MK11 launched with 24. So I'm wondering why they couldn't have at least made it 20+. 18 is solid, but for a full priced game it's not enough.

And a full priced game with dlc announced before it's coming out. Of course they're gonna get greedy and announce a fighter pass for characters that probably should've been in the game at the beginning.

The lack of outfits is a joke. Just two, which are beautiful and have different colours but two is a joke. Look at the customisation in Mortal Kombat 11, like they could've made a lot more outfits and given us variety, oh but they will just as paid DLC of course.

The lack of intros and outros for characters is a shame too. Not many unique interactions too.

Overall, Capcom has been on a roll lately and it's great to see that but they haven't been perfect. Street Fighter 6 is a must play, and a great way to get into fighting games and Street Fighter. It's not perfect, but it gets close at times and is a very solid experience and great return to form for the franchise. Even with its flaws, the core gameplay loop is just soooo good, it keeps you hooked and you just want to keep playing non stop, the intuitive controls for old and new players is so amazing and every game win or lose you learn something new. So overall I give Street Fighter 6 aaaaa

9/10

A great return for a legendary franchise, and I'm sure it will be a 10 after all the dlc comes out and a complete edition gets released.

A Plague Tale: Innocence was an amazing narrative driven experience, it starts off with a great opening but is a little slow gameplay wise but once the game opens up it is wonderful.

The concept and story was super interesting, set in the 1300s the world has been overtaken by killer plagued rats. You play as Amica and Hugo, siblings from a royal family and are trying to survive after your family and village is ambushed and slaughtered by the Englishmen and church.

The graphics are beautiful, it's a AA not triple game so it's very solid, the art direction really helps, a broken rotted world, being devoured by rats makes for beautiful scenery.

The voice acting was phenomenal, part of the reason I liked the game as much as I did. The soundtrack was also very good.

The gameplay once it opens up is really fun, it's a last of us esque style but you use a sling and alchemy to defeat enemies, and rats of course. The gameplay and exploration does feel lacking and slightly repetitive at times though.

Amica and Hugo's relationship was wonderful seeing it evolve throughout the game was awesome especially when you meet and interact with the other characters on the cast.

The Malica disease power was such a sick and interesting concept, and the two final bosses were so fun, the tension is something the game does really well.

The castle and nightmare sequence are standouts, and the brutality of the game and seeing Amica become more brutal throughout the game was amazing too.

Collectibles having meaning and enhancing the story instead of being tedious was very nice as well.

Overall, the game was a solid experience and a treat to play. Can't wait to see how they expand and innovate in the next one as that is what it feels like this one lacks.

Not a bad game. Pretty fun, pretty funny at times but feels super basic especially the core gameplay and just objectives. It overstayed it's welcome, but is worth playing and you can have a better experience while playing with friends.

The Quarry is Supermassive Games newest game and it is... werid?

The Quarry is an experience, a funny, a scary, a very CRINGE experience.

The game starts off on the right foot with the absolutely stunning graphics, and facial animations. Honestly some of the best in the business. It sets the tone right away with this 90s horror movie style with campiness and is a story about werewolfs, instead of wendigos like their previous game Until Dawn.

And let me tell you the werewolfs did not disappoint. The design is pretty meh, it's honestly a wendigos reskin which was disappointing, however the mannerisms, the transformation, the kills, it's all freaking awesome. I honestly wish the design was amazing cus it wouldve been perfect, but holy the transformation of the person's skin exploding is crazy.

Did I mention the games awesome UI and replayability? It's truly awesome they did a good job.

And man they have the goat, HOFFMAN!! Ted Raimi and he his one of the standouts and does a freaking amazing job. Them choosing real actors has its pros and cons but overall I liked the choice, all the performances were really good but man.

The dialogue. The dialogue is so hit or miss and garbage most of the time. It's super bad, but playing with a friend really made it more enjoyable and it is so unintentionally funny at times. Honestly it kinda grows on u it's werid it's like a quirk.

The wolfpack mode is a great addition, where u can experience the game with up to 4 friends and there's also couch coop which is a plus. However I wish there was a option for your friend to actually play because u have the final say on all decisions.

Soundtrack was good, but a lot of the songs are very out of place and ruin tension.

Tips have cutely animated videos which are awesome remind me of the bioshock ability overview vids.

Holding a button instead of holding still is a horrendous change and ruins a lot of the tension.

Great drama, overall though caters towards the tiny bad parts from until dawn, went drama instead of horror which is a bad decision.

The Hackett family is interesting, and they carried the game, the mystery was good but could've been done better.

Also just feels like it reuses a lot from Until Dawn.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. Not as good as Until Dawn but it's definitely worth playing and still fun and I highly recommend playing with someone else, and waiting for a sale. I hope Supermassive Games takes feedback, and truly makes something phenomenal, like Until Dawn, instead of just making a good game. The game has so much good, and Supermassive is so talented I hope they make something very special next time, as The Quarry as fun as it is still a flawed game.

7/10

So much better than RE4R and it's not even close.

Aged like wine, one of the 🐐

I have a hard time digesting a remake of something that was already so perfect, I literally have to keep reminding myself this is a reimagining which it is and that it's not Resident Evil 4, it's a whole new game. RE2 and RE3 had leeway since they were genuinely so old and it was welcomed by most, but with 4, for me it's just not the case.

The game starts off with the right foot for the most part, we get a great recap like in the original game from Leon, and The Drive plays and you know the rest. It's good but it's still not as good as the original, they even changed the lines and the police voice actors are not that good.

A lot of the charm such as the funny dialogue and moments are gone for the sake of making it more "grounded" and "horror" so why are suplexing and kicks still mechanics? It just seems like they are embarrassed of what made RE4 good at times. Don't get me wrong alot are still there and it has a few good new ones but not much. But it's like the game only commits half way of trying to be something new because they know if they cut stuff and change too much we won't like it, so it ends up feeling unfaithful and is kind of cheating itself. No art on loading screens is also stupid, little things like that add up.

Ada's va line delivery is awful. Krausers va is alright. Overall other than Luis, Ashely, Leon, and maybe the Merchant the voice acting is super mediocre.

Merchant is an improvement in terms of buying and selling and upgrading and while not as iconic as the og he's not bad, he's pretty good. Leon's new va is good but I just couldn't help think of Paul Mercier. It's werid, all the voice acting just doesn't feel that good. Even all the enemies it's just not as good as the original, and maybe it's not supposed to be but what did they give us in return? In my opinion what we got in return wasn't that good. So much was cut and changed for worse than better it's actually insane.

The gameplay feels smooth, insane attention to detail. It's a pretty good reimagining of RE4 and a newer modern direction of the original game. However aiming feels annoying, crowd control is not there, and things are just not as thought out as the original. And it just pisses you off sometimes, like when you run by enemies you might get stunned or Leon does this werid jerk movement it's so stupid, and the crouch button is so pointless.

The controls are pretty good, but I much prefer the strategic and more thought out controls of the original, it was more thought provoking and fun and you just felt like you were in control, like an experienced Leon, don't get me wrong though some of that feeling is still here.

Unreal graphics, great sound design in its own way, art direction is great too. I still like the original better and it's aged like wine and I think it's more scary, but again it's good here too they did the best they could while keeping some of the originals soul.

Parrying mechanic is awesome. Great idea to change it up from the original. But what's the point when your knife breaks every 5 seconds.

The dialogue is nowhere near as good as the OG. And I don't understand why they had to change a lot of it, like I get it but they're changing it and giving us something not as good in return.

I also absolutely hate the fact that the notes are so trash, in the original I was always intrigued and wanted to read more and was invested but in this game they just feel generic and you kinda have no motivation to read them, like I still remember Luis's research from the OG.

The reload animations and animations in general are really good, they're a treat to see.

I liked the remixed soundtracks it adds an authentic feel at timed and I enjoyed the soundtrack for the most part.

Crafting overhaul is nice it's similar to RE2R, but it's nothing crazy.

Quality of life stuff is cool and instant switching is nice but I don't like it. Takes away from so much of the strategic elements of the og.

Amazing ai at times, but it gets annoying at times. Especially Ashley, although her character is great in the remake and I still prefer the original, the commands are stupid. You have less control and she's constantly running and more annoying in this one. In the original games the commands were perfect and they should have kept them that way. The addition of her hiding and stuff is cool though.

Big cheese fight was good. The second phase kind of sucked tho. Salazars design sucks too just to mention it.

Tutorial section for the knife was so dumb, you already learnt how to use the knife yourself before that.

Dialogue with Hunnigan is ass and overly serious, and it just takes it self so seriously and I hate how Leon is such a hardass. His characterization in the original is so much better and he's literally a CHAD.

All these improvements are great but I FEEL next to nothing.

Sections feel like modern gaming at times, just walking around or getting something or whatever it's so boring at times and isn't as intriguing as the original or even the RE2R.

I feel people are being dishonest or have their glasses on where they can't see flaws, or are having recency bias because the game has issues it's not perfect like people say. This is NOT a generational game like the original and other games. There's nothing jaw dropping or revolutionary about this game like the original, not one new amazing innovation. Like how does this game have better reviews than something like RDR2, the original, some of the greatest games ever? This is not even the best remake. This game is not even close to them, it's a good game, but at the end of the day it's a knockoff I feel, the best Resident Evil 4 knockoff you can buy.

But why would you wanna buy a knockoff? When you can enjoy the original thing. Capcom should have used this energy on a game that actually needed it or made something original entirely. Modern gaming I guess.

RE4 remake impresses, its a fun game, a great game at times, it carries over parts of Resident Evil 4s soul, but it doesn't manage to capture me or make me FEEL what the original did, and what it offers is just subpar especially compared to it...

I know I may sound negative, I enjoyed the game still, and my standards are high. But it's just that the original Resident Evil 4 means so much to me and was so freaking amazing and revolutionary. It's one of my favorite games ever, and I love it so much. So Resident Evil 4 Remake was set up to fail for someone like me.

7/10

guy from smash bros in the game

Never forget the RE3 Remake turned out mediocre because they decided to take shortcuts and also focus on this garbage.
