i miss smash 4 falco a lot as he was the character i mained during the last 2-3 years before smash 4 stopped being played in favor of ultimate releasing. at the time of writing this it saddens me that official wii u and 3ds servers are going down in like 2 months because there wont really be a convenient way to play online and play the character that really got me into competitive smash

i dont really play this game competitively anymore but this was easily the character i had the most fun with and still do every time i come back and pick the sticks up for a little bit

im ass at melee and only ever get the urge to play it when i watch grtr4sh's mang0: the musical video because that shit is inspiring and falco is just the character i find the most fun to play who doesnt suck ass in this game

my friends who i played this with back during release would make fun of me or get mad at me for playing ky because he's the easy character but honestly i really dont give a fuck because he feels so damn good to play even if i kinda suck at this game

my current main team is a little bit newer but theyre just the characters i picked because i find them a lot of fun to play for a variety of reasons. yamcha has always been my favorite character to play as individually though because he has a lot of weird stuff but all of his unique qualities are always so cool to mess with and see how i can push my knowledge of the character further

dry bones and yellow shy guy

mario spinoffs that let you play as generic mario enemies are always my favorite because they usually portray those characters in cool ways you dont get to see when theyre just plain characters and shy guy and dry bones just so happen to fall under that category

every character in this game is already pretty unique in their own way and they all show a high level of personality comparable to one another but man the fact you can play as a robo lady is sick as hell she's always my go to when i dont know who to pick

charizard and bowser

something about hard hitting big bodies in this game being able to bust out some nice combos every once in a while and also just having massive punish game feels so good when you get a stupid roll read or something

slime

i feel like picking slime is the dragon quest equivalent of picking mario except slime is actually cool and everyone wants to play as the most popular dragon quest guy

retro hat

more of a skin than a playable character but the vvvvvv reference is sick and i just like the look of this hat the most compared to the others, especially because of its unique quack animation

rock lee and orochimaru

rock lee because hes my favorite character in the show and his mode change into 3rd gate where he loses life but builds up meter for a special super that teleports in front of you is insane
orochimaru because when you do his fire breath attack he does a wheez-y laugh that me and my friend have made an inside joke for the past like 5 years

latch

im not particularly good at lethal league but i still love playing it and latch is just my go-to because of his playstyle and the fact that He Has That Shit On

this is definitely a lot more of a nostalgia pick because i havent regularly played brawl since i was like 10 but i just thought wind waker was a really cool game as a kid and the fact that he was a secret character in subspace emissary made me like him even more

dry bones

see explanation in mk8dx but in addition his unique carts are really cool in this game the fact that one of his character specific karts is a tank is the coolest shit ever

diddy kong and bowser jr

this combo has the characters i like the most out of double dash's cast and you also get a really good selection of karts with this combo

loba

when i used to play apex with my friends i would also play lifeline but my friends would get mad at me if i played loba because they would tell me she sucks and that lifeline was objectively better and they were probably right but man i just thought black market and having a teleport were really cool, i probably shouldnt have let myself get pushed around so easily back then lol

piccolo

again like duck game not really a character and just a skin but piccolo is my favorite dragon ball character across the entire series and i like how they did his skin a lot in this game so i use his skin the most of the ones i own

winston, lucio, ana

i fell off of overwatch a long time ago but every once in a while i hop back on to play with some friends and throughout overwatch 1 and even still when i play 2 now these are my go-tos depending on what role i am, i also hate playing all of the dps characters in this game and heavily prefer tank and support so generally i always get the characters i want to play

marucho/preyas

i played the shit out of this game on ds and i dont even know why but very often i would go into freeplay and play as marucho with his main bakugan preyas because i liked both of their designs a lot as a kid and i would only ever play as him and no other characters. i never even watched the bakugan anime but i just strongly gravitated towards this character because i think i wanted to be like him lol
