I was really impressed with this. It's cute, it's fun, and it's over before it starts to wear out it's welcome.

My only complaint is that the races they added are way too difficult to get gold in. I like a challenge but the disparity between the cozy puzzle game and the hair-pulling frustration of the races is huge.

It's cute enough, but there's not enough to chew on for it to leave much of an impression, both in terms of gameplay and narrative.

The open-world is passable in that sort of mindless, color-by-numbers kind of way. And the gunplay and driving feel satisfying enough.

However the narrative here is just awful. It's like GTA written by someone who spends all day on Twitter.

The puzzles and boss fights here leave something to be desired. But the mood and gameplay is second to none.

A great world with great characters brought down by technical issues, bad combat, and a miserably static open world.

Played this on my Series X on MCC. As a kid ODST confused me and I never really got into it. Coming back to it now, this game is amazing. It's a great twist on the Halo formula.

The campaign is short and shallow, but the MP is really good so far. Very strange move to launch with a battle pass that is 80% rewards for Cold War though.

Maybe not as good as the RE2 Remake. But still pretty darn good.

For the most part I loved this game. I had a few minor gripes, for instance the fact that there's no way to track collectibles both in minds or the overworld, even post-game. The combat is also pretty lackluster, and I never really felt like I got the hang of it.
But the charm and humor outshine all of that. I haven't laughed at a game this much in a long while. The first game and Rhombus of Ruin are referenced just enough to reward long-time fans without being obnoxious. The story dips into some heavy topics and handles them all very well.
All in all, this felt like I took a trip back to the era of mid-2000s platformers, and I mean that in the best way possible.

I really liked how open-ended the game was at first. The first thing I did was pick up the knife and stab the wife, and I couldn't believe the game just let me do that.
However, that open-endedness ultimately just leads to a lot of dull trial and error. A lot of times it felt like there were dialogue choices that lead to game overs that were only there to make you do another loop and extend the game.
The premise is interesting, but the story falls flat and ends with cliche "Was it even real?" flashbacks which is so lazy and uninteresting.

Another great installment in a great series. It's so satisfying to see a direct sequel in the current landscape of reboots and soft reboots.

I was ready to write this off as the usual open-world filler, but towards the end I felt it picked up. Some of the characters are very likeable and the gunplay feels good enough that it still feels good mowing down hordes all the way through.
