at first i thought this wasnt gonna be better than the original for me but holy shit i was wrong. i have some problems with the original; specifically the island and some smaller things that were SO much better in the remake. the gameplay in remake is also better imo but i still really enjoy the og game's gameplay. the story improvements and changes were also really nice to see as well, i loved luis' and ashley's characters in the og and seeing them get more scenes and ashley actually having a character was GREAT. the last thing i need to talk about is this games version of the mercenaries game mode and holy fucking shit its SO much better than the original. like yeah theres less characters but the ones that arent in (ada and wesker) are probably gonna get added later on whenever they add separate ways. overall the game was great and i really enjoyed it, 10/10.

chose to get into ac with 4 instead of playing ac1 or 3 and i made the right choice because holy shit this was GOOD. the gameplay is the best part about the game and being able to control a mech that can move really fucking fast is really fun and the weapons feel great to use as well. the mobility options you get make the game alot more fun and they're all all insanely fun and i enjoyed them alot. the story is also pretty good and while i couldn't piece some of the story together i was still able to get what it was about which is also just told to you in the ending cutscene, being how war can effect people and just how bad it can get and how much it can destroy. the ost also is great and i loved the song "fall" which you hear in the final boss. overall it was really good and one of my favorite fromsoft games and i cant wait to play the other games in the franchise.

pretty alright rougelite that couldve been so much better if it Wasn't in that genre and was just a short 3d brawler, the combat is fine but fairly simple with some cool things you can do. the key issue is that theres almost NO variety with the enemies until the end of the game. all of the enemies follow the same attack patterns and have almost the same movesets. the story is pretty alright but im not too familiar with hellboy stories outside of the first 2 live action movies, the music was also pretty decent and overall the game as a whole is decent, if it wasnt a rougelite and the enemies had actual variety itd be better. 7/10
