Overall, a lot of the logic in this game really is middling and just kinda sucks, but I feel that was a big reason to why I enjoyed playing this game. Going back and forth about the stupidest and illogical plot points ever had me laughing at the game quite a bit, and it was fun, but I can't say it was more than just "silly fun". The first case is really the only one that I could consider more than such, and is easily the best case in this game (not a good thing when a game is just trying to play catch up with the quality of its first part cough inscryption cough). With the other cases, Apollo gets barely any unique characterization, and Phoenix steals the show whenever he's on screen, which was pretty sad. Trucy and Klavier hard carried my enjoyment of the characters, as they were so great to interact with throughout the cases, and especially during case 4.

Really wish this game was better, I love the Gavin brothers and Trucy, but they're stuck in a game unbefitting of their quality.
