i always go back to it. such a great game and remake!

absolutely amazing game!! love it so much. even though i prefer the more horror heavy resident evil games, this one is still outstanding.

not my first yakuza game but for sure one of my favorites. so much to do and the attention to detail is expected, but still so amazing to see!. love both the gameplay and the story so much, one of the most memorable games from the series!

one of my favorite stories from the series, despite its flaws, and considering i don't have the opportunity to play the og, im so glad this one was released.

what an entry to the series!! i really like this game, even if it is controversial in its decisions, i had a lot of fun with the story and gameplay. not my favorite, but still great.

its okay. the change in pace threw me off for a bit, but after a while i grew to enjoy. i quite like the domestic aspect of it, even if it drags for a bit, and the villain is one of the most memorable from the series. the side stories were awful though. skipped a few of them, the minigames were a bit hard to push through, and gameplay wise i actually don't mind the blocking from the enemies, i found it rather funny! still a solid game.

its.. a game for sure. there are aspects i absolutely love and some i despise. the protagonists are pretty 50/50 for me. the introduction to akiyama is masteful and gets you hooked very quickly, but saejima and his whole plot hit me like a truck in the worst way possible. story wise its possibly the most inconsistent game in the series, though gameplay wise its so great. i had a blast with the different fighting styles and figuring each protagonist out. baaaad villain, forgettable plot points and the ones that stand out just dont make sense (at all). had fun with the minigames as well, which i guess is this series forte. regardless of its divisive nature, its still a pretty fun game if you turn your brain off during some parts.

one of my favorites! what a behemoth of a game. a game of risks and as its message suggests, all about dreaming big. the minigames had me hooked instantly, and my god, i thought the story just wasnt't gonna end, which to me isn't a bad thing at all. as confusing as some of the bits were, the characters absolutely make up for it with their charisma. did not care for the villain. i love the gameplay so much, and it actually had my favorite karaoke songs! the pros heavily outweight the cons in this one.

this fucking game. i wish it didn't exist. gameplay is whatever i don't care, aside from nerfing tiger drop and a few other annoying stuff that didn't need to happen but they did it anyway just because. i hate the story with a burning passion. it took me so long to finish it and it's the yakuza game i spent the least time playing. that ending pissed me off so bad. like shut the hell up of course he didn't die. just bad. minigame wise i don't know didn't play them. substory wise i also did not play, because i couldn't stand playing that game for more time than i needed to. the half star goes strictly to the soundtrack and soundtrack ONLY. it rocks.

my biggest ick is why the hell would they present a whole new cast of supporting characters, that suck ass btw, in kiryus supposed "goodbye" story. i knew he wasn't gonna die because thats stupid as fuck to do and would be so lackluster. i mean, it IS lackluster, they don't have the balls to commit to the bit and off him for good. they did it like 4 times. its almost insulting. i couldn't tell you what happens in the story aside from that because it also sucked. only reason this game isn't completely forgettable is because it pissed me off so much everytime i think about it gives me a headache. unfortunately i care so much for this series, that game actually broke my heart by being so bad. the baby is cute i guess.

one of my favorite games EVER. my first ever turn based game and i love it so much, the characters are so amazing and charismatic, i absolutely love ichiban and his party. i've replayed it many times and i always go back to it when i can. i love the gameplay sooo much and how it adds to the story. speaking of story, it's perfect. i love it so much. so much going on but at the same time the pacing is great and it didn't tire me out at all. love the minigames so much and the substories, i had so much fun. it's an uplifting story with great gameplay if you're into that stuff.

i love the batmobile i don't careeee

one of the most compelling stories i've had the pleasure of experiencing. what a rollercoaster of emotions. the moments where you're travelling alone were just as great as the story. cried like a baby everytime i finished it. RIP to my horse Midnight.

this game has been living in my head rent free ever since i found out about it a couple of years ago. i refused to finish it for so long because i simply adored exploring the little town and its secrets. each journal and discovery had me questioning everything and everyone, and the atmosphere is just perfect. i also unexpectedly got very attached to the characters, considering that we never outwright interact with them, which is so interesting. a very simple but effective game. love it.
