Super fun. No better feeling than having a new kingdom to explore and new power moons to collect! I'm seven years late to this title yet I feel like it has been a while since I have played a truly polished game like this.

Also New Donk City festival is too iconic.

Finishing the journey with Cappy and his departing remarks made me far too emotional. Love this game to bits.

I'm was close to 100%ing but I care more for my sanity than the few really stupid moons I tried really hard to get but couldn't...(literally a few: the harder koopa cups, 100 score for volleyball and jumprope, 2 of the bound bowl racing moons, breakdown road moons and the secret 2D treasure in the mushroom kingdom). STILL marking it as mastered cause I'm like 90% done.

Awesome and very unique game! The story is very silly yet funny and engaging, and I can quite honestly say I've never played anything like this.

It's very fun to play multiplayer mode with friends and family, however I wish the single player mode was more balanced and level progression more consistent. The game is also not very optimized: a tad bit long loading screen times, some glitching here and there, and even minor softlocks within the levels. The classic mode is quite fun but I really enjoyed playing in practice mode and getting in the flow around the roadblocks of a particular level.

I really enjoyed both Overcooked 1 and Overcooked 2, I have to say though, the 'throw' mechanic becomes a very useful tool that I miss when re-playing Overcooked 1 levels.

Revisiting this after a couple of months and after playing through most of the titles in the series... really a rewarding play through to get back to the game that got me hooked on Resident Evil.

Truly a fun yet terrifying experience that is the perfect blend of puzzles, combat / survival which is all set in beautiful, detailed and immersive environments which captivate me time and time again.

Would love to eventually play the original and see how this game evolved from its roots.

So fun to revisit the game through this DLC, loved all the little details alluding to Ada's whereabouts in the main story and vice versa

Was expecting the worst from the hearsay about this remake, but came out after having finished the game overall very pleasantly surprised.

I haven't played the original RE3 so I don't have the framework to compare this game with it, but I really enjoyed Jill as the protagonist (and Carlos as the deuteragonist), the overworld, puzzles, and the enemies, though Nemesis hardly felt like an imposing threat throughout the game.

I can't complain because I had a really great time, and (if I can ever get past the tank controls and fixed camera in the OG) I would love to play the original to see what all the fuss is about.

Leon's Campaign: ~31h, from April 27th–May 5th
Claire's Campaign: ~8h from May 5th to 6th

I thought I knew what survival horror was before I played this game, whew, I was sorely mistaken.

This game moreso than OG Re4 feels very formative for myself, opening up an entire new genre that I had previously written off.

This remake is bloody brilliant, I loved the puzzles, atmosphere, characters, overarching themes and story.

I would say the second campaign (I played as Claire) is slighttttly tedious, but things are purposely moved around and shortened to make it feel less repetitive so its not all that troublesome.

The cheesiness in this series is so well blended with the horror, I doubt I'll be able to find that combination anywhere else so I see myself returning to this series and game often.

I mean, what can I say about this game that already hasn't been said? As my first RE game (that I've played through), I think it perfectly blends action setpieces with survival horror.

Really enjoyed the level designs and how atmospheric the entire game was, its influence in the genre and games in general is very palpable.

This was my first exposure to the Yakuza series and it seriously got me pumped (understatement) to play the rest.

The story is kinda outlandish and hard to follow in some places (partly my fault for playing with very large time gaps in between) but the journal and ability to replay cutscenes helps with that. The combat never gets old, and I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't implemented into Kiwami 2 as well.

The environment is stunning and I barely took taxis so I could walk around the city, the lighting, atmosphere, everything about it is great.

Majima Everywhere was very fun, but breaks story immersion in some places, and it makes so much more sense that it wasn't in the original. Regardless, it was very fun mechanic (but sometimes tedious) to play through those spontaneous fights.

Currently trying to platinum this game, NOT looking forward to playing the car chase segment on the higher difficulties, and fulfilling Haruka's whims for Kiryu to gamble and get perfect in pool, but alas.

*finished / beat game on Dec 28th, but continued playing in premium adventure to finish side stories, max out Dragon style, reach S tier in majima everywhere etc.

*Played Switch Version (released 2019) with QOL updates

Gosh, unbelievably groundbreaking. Can't wrap my head around the fact that this was released in '97. Can't wait to be crushed by the rest of the story again in the remake.
