I have Wollom to thank for this recommendation, and I'd say it wasn't a bad time. It took me a while to get used to, given it's a whole 'nother genre of rhythm game that I am way less experienced in, but I had fun a good amount of fun.

I've gone into detail on my whole ordeal with rhythm games before, so I won't bother here. To talk about the actual game, it's fairly similar to Muse Dash, though with a few extra details and now utilizing both sides of the screen, which... like, it's cool, but it doesn't exactly add much, and, if anything, can make it a bit more difficult to focus on incoming notes when the camera is shifting between sides or pulling itself into the middle of the screen, noticeably reducing the room to react while also keeping watch on two different directions at once. I could very well just be bad at the game, but regardless, it sorta got to me.

The music was pretty hit or miss, I definitely liked Proper Rhythm a fair bit, but I'm already having a little trouble remembering most of the other tracks. I almost felt like I was zoning out for some of them, things just started to feel a bit samey after a while.

I don't want to be too hard on this game. It's a subgenre that I'm not the best at, in a genre that I'm already not very fond of, and even despite all that, it's still just a quick little side story made to anticipate the actual game's full release. I liked what it had, and while I might not be 100% interested in what's in store, I'm still looking forward to seeing how it turns out. The vibe is there, and they definitely nailed it. Good art, some nice emotional points, albeit a little quick and scattered, not a bad game. Hope things go well for the team.

Short, free Muse Dash-like which tells the story of a mid 20's Ramona Flowers type girl and her underground band playing music in a country where it's outlawed (Iran probably(?)). The visual aesthetic fucks, with it's grungy yet colorful palette and grain filter set over top of punk flavored J-Rock songs; also props to the devs for putting in a 4:3 mode.

A fun rhythm game that's got a lot of charm in both gameplay and presentation. I have a few gameplay related gripes in that the camera and some of the VFX make it hard to sight-read some of the tracks when you're first getting the hang of things, but it feels responsive and satisfying to hit the notes. I'm not great at determining whether things are charted well, but I can tell what I'm meant to be following in each song (which means it's better than the average osu! track).

The writing in the little vignettes we get is a little much, but I do feel like this is a silly complaint to level at a demo and I still generally like the fact that there's a story attached to each song.

Unreasonably good for a demo-slash-side story with a good variety of songs too, definitely check it out if you're interested in rhythm games.

Incredible style and interface very reminiscent of the Studio Trigger works. A great soundtrack with some bopping tunes. Characters seem great so far, but I wish we got to learn a bit more about Beat! It was a bit confusing learning the controls at first and it certainly takes some getting used to, but I love everything about this game so far. It's free. You lose nothing by trying it. Certainly looking forward to more!

i don't think i've ever loved a game so much that i am this bad at

This is a fantastic Rhythm game. Very good music, Very good artwork and overall very good Aesthetic. If you are a fan of Muse Dash this game is VERY similar in how the songs are played and the best part about this all? This game is 100% free (it almost makes you feel criminal for playing such a well done game for free).

I highly recommend this game for any music Rhythm game fan or anyone who is looking to get into the genre. This game is free and on steam!

There will be a full version of the game coming out down the line that I am going to 100% purchase.

A rhythm game with a neat style similar to Studio Trigger and great tracks going for it. It's also free and the controls need a bit more polish.

This game is gorgeous, has great design, music is awesome, everything feels smooth and buttery.

Few things I noticed though:
- I feel like some of the notes were a bit off rhythm in a few of the songs. Not like, I hit them off, but they came a bit too soon from what the song sounded like.
- Overworld movement could use some mending, the train station specifically, I felt like I should've been able to go further "back" (towards the horizon) considering how defined the map was, and sometimes the hitboxes/boundaries felt too big.

muse dash if it wasn't weird as fuck
also banger songs

I like the songs in this rhythm game. One thing this game does is mess with your controls at points while you're playing and I never enjoy those mechanics. It's like reversing your left/right and up/down controls randomly. Not cool on harder difficulties.

muse dash but better in every aspect

better songs, better gameplay, better visual style and you don't have to pay 30$ dollars for good songs

We're not actually sure if this will be in the final game, but White Label describes itself as a "side-story" set in the UNBEATABLE universe which seems to us like it was a special chapter released as part of their crowdfunding to promote their game, some 30-minute prototype which sat really well with us.

As described in the crowdfunding campaign, Unbeatable's plot is made fairly simple: in a world where music is made illegal, our protagonist, "Beat", defies the odds with the help of underground rock bands in a "narratively-hyperfocused" adventure game, with rhythm game intermissions. Surprisingly - not farfetched a story, and -somewhat- quite similar to the history of rock back in the Soviet Union, to a greater extent.

Most of the presented soundtrack was undeniably Japanese, reminding us of alternative rock tracks often found in Japanese openings, of which the post-hardcore shoegaze band "Mass of Fermenting Dregs" specifically came to mind. We aren't quite sure if any of the track were licensed, but the full demo soundtrack is available to buy for a mere six dollars, a full album of which instrumental tracks are added. Unbeatable might be worth its price tag in content alone, featuring many "original" high-quality tracks made by professional artists and songwriters.

In practicality, the game feels like the fairly recent and popular mobile rhythm game "Muse Dash"; however, much expanded with "The World End with You" overworld and a Gainax-inspired art style. What results is an absolutely wholesome experience, and of the sample that we saw of its cast of cheerful, unique, and colorful anime protagonists; combined with the game's unique art style and soundtrack; we quickly grew attached and nearly - instantly - wanted more.

While the gameplay could be improved, and its two-button rhythm combat gameplay doesn't translate as well from mobile to console - or PC; there is, however, a lot that wasn't presented, perhaps mini-games, or a difficulty curve which might surprise us in the final release. Nonetheless, the narrative adventure segments are sure to charm many, we feel there is definitely a little bit of everyone, at least in the concept and narrative adventure games are definitely not "in the niche" as of late.

Demo so there's some wrinkles but honestly I don't care, this game is right up my alley in everything I like. Art invokes TRIGGER? Music is funky, fresh, and gets you pumped? You fight people WITH said music? Be Gay Do Crime? The main character makes a pog joke? This is the Perfect Game

what a generous demo, and they keep adding to it and updating it! i'm here for the music first, the visuals second, and the attitude third. fortunately, the gameplay is both fun and accessible. i've played through songs with lots of safeguards, and songs with no assistance, and the game doesn't really lose the fun when it loses the challenge (for me). there's some demo-style jank, but it promises a really cool final product based on what's here.

i backed this on kickstarter, i'm in the discord server, and i'm really excited to play the full game when it's out. this review is for a free demo, why not give it a shot?

Recomendo demais o download.

So.
My favourite anime is Kill La Kill, I love studio Trigger's art style.
My favourite genre of music is pop punk/emo.
One of my favourite genres of games is rhythm.

This game is gorgeous, the songs bang, and the gameplay is addictive. I love love love this game and cannot wait for it to fully release.

It's a rhythm game about a girl named Beat who plays in a band with her friends, Clef, Quaver, and Treble. UNBEATABLE [white label] is a demo made for UNBEATABLE. The rhythm mechanics introduced in this game are unique and fun, and the music is astounding, even featuring remixes of the original songs. The animation is also worth praising for its colorful and stunning art style. Throughout the demo, Beat would talk about her past and reflect on parts of her life after completing a track. She is an interesting protagonist with a backstory I would like to learn more about. Overall, UNBEATABLE [white label] is already a great game, even though it's just a demo, and if the demo is this good, then I can't wait to play the full release of UNBEATABLE.

Remember to situp straight but without stiffness

Like Muse Dash except you have notes coming at you from both sides and excluding the risqué content (which is a good thing). Even if it isn't fully fleshed out yet, it was extremely enjoyable and I can't wait until the full game comes out!!
Edit: There was a patch today that improves the controls IMMENSELY. The game feels more responsive now and all the charts were remapped to better reflect the progress on the main game! To all the people worried about controls, they did a great job fine tuning them. You can also create custom bindings if you don't like the home keys.

Still very early on in development but GOD this is already super good. Still needs a few tweaks to the gameplay for the final game and a lot more customization, but for this being a quick demo it's already fantastic. Very excited for the final game.

my girlfriend likes this game so i played it while she watched
great for my ego cus she said i was kinda good at it
bad for my hands cus i was kinda going crazy
really fucking good music outside of one song which was mad mid tbh
very good tutorial and learning curve that rewards skill
great aesthetics and characters - wasnt expecting some heartwarming exposition in a demo but here we are
very good stuff

Great game, can't wait for release.

While I love everything being done here aesthetically, it seems to have been at the expense of clarity. Why is the note chart split in half? Because it looks cool lol. If "Familiar" is any indication, the campaign will deliver on spectacle. Excited to see how the final product turns out.

interesting mechanics, pretty cool pop-punk music, I personally couldn't quite get the flow of it.
