If business was this good, why doesn't Tapper just hire a waitress or two?
Obviously because there would be no reason for a game to exist. Buuuuut that could be an excuse for a multiplayer Tapper, which sounds fucking amazing. Imagine the chaos as both players fight over whose fault it is that a mug broke.

Encountered the machine for Root Beer Tapper at an arcade I visited with a group of friends and had to stop myself from spending all night playing it. Just a really good game of balancing several things at once, and the physical tap handle really makes it for me. I never really made it that far, but damn I just had a good time.
Definitely a personal favorite of mine out of Midways 80s arcade lineup. The game is just so goddamn hectic with having to juggle counting shots to send the right number of beers and catching empty glasses while scanning the screen to course out the next plan of attack, it hits that ADHD multitasking brain real good. It definitely seems like there's an amount of luck to the game, as it seems like its entirely RNG how far a customer slides back and how quickly they finish their drinks, and that can just sometimes put you in a bad state where there's just too much going on to feasibly handle. But hey! It certainly gets me wanting to keep trying again and again to see what happens every run. If this is what actual bartending is like though imma start praying for every barkeep on earth out there. And also the ones in space too, apparently, as this game proves that even aliens need their fill of Bud.
If I ever see this at an arcade you know that's an on-sight play. I think there used to be an arcade around me that had this game, but they died a few years back...

Before there was Sneak King, there was Tapper, brought to you by your friends at Budweiser™. One of the first time management games, you serve beer to four lanes of patrons while collecting empty glasses. Nice graphics with cheerful music, but the gameplay loop didn't hold my interest for that long.
Look if I make an extra beer and that spills it is on me but if a customer rudely slides their empty mug at me while I am clearly busy that is their fault and I should be able to ban them from my bar instead of being punished.
This unironically reminds me of my McDonald's job and I am currently on vacation from that.

Unique control scheme that just lets you move the joystick (now shaped like a beer tap) up and down to pour and slide the beers down the bar. The 2nd joystick is a traditional 4-way restrictor plate to move your bartender. Very unique game and pretty addictive. Played the Budweiser version at Funspot in NH.
This game speaks to me as someone who works a regular 9-5, and having to deal with the most uptight asshole customers imaginable. It is also pretty good, with you serving beer n' junk, and it is very satisfying to get a good streak going with points, even if it can be kind of awkward to control at points.
