No one is on the level of devil. A really unique experience with some shocking and perplexing moments that are mired by gameplay that ends up being repetitive and unfun puzzles that might not be your thing.

Regardless, worth experiencing at least once.

A really unique platformer that I wish I was better at. Charming art style with each stage having unique mechanics alongside great boss fights.

This game is so good that it made another game i didn't like as much, like Control, better in retrospect. A perfect evolution of not only the first Alan Wake, but all the titles Remedy has been working for the past decade.

Not only is this game really unique, but it exudes the love and care that Remedy put into it. Hopefully we don't need to wait another 13 years for a sequel.

As this is a free edition to a really good game, it feels a bit mean to complain about its contents but I do feel it was a bit overhyped online. The surprise and shock experienced on the second part of this new roguelite mode quickly fades when repetitive objectives need to be accomplished to complete the current run.

Despite that, experiencing this version of Kratos reflecting about his past deeds without the constant blabbering by Atreus is a needed and refreshing change.

What else can be said, believe the hype. The most surprising thing to me is how fun the game it is to play in Co-Op.

The amount of combinations and permutations every encounter, storyline, conversation can have is astounding and a miracle of game design in some cases.

Only minor complaint is how some of the later companions are not as developed as the core 6 you unlock first but they are still fun to get, specially since they are fan service for fans of the previous games.

A decent, even sometimes good Monster Hunter clone that introduces some unique ideas such as building mechanics and unique weapon types to the genre while simultaneously repeating monsters not even through the middle of the game.

Alongside this, it has pretty bad performance on all systems and it's hard to get other hunters to join you in some fights due to the low playerbase. If you absolutely need more of this genre after playing the many Monster Hunter titles, go ahead.

CDPR expansions just do not miss. I have loved and defended Cyberpunk 2077 since day 1 and the quality of this expansion alongside both Updates 2.0 and 2.1 just takes it to another level.

The quality of writing and storytelling alongside the soul crushing nature of Night City is displayed quite well in this title, even more so than in the main game at points since Pacifica is a more fucked up district than the rest of Night City.

In some ways a great upgrade over the first games but in others is just more Remnant. Some of the most creative boss fights I have seen this year alongside a great sense of artistic style.

However, the storyline keeps being nonsense that gets in the way of the gameplay, and the game ends as soon as it gets going. One more biome with dungeons would have been perfect since the last biome is pretty linear.

After listening to the Soundtrack for months without playing it, this ended up being a nice surprise. We all made fun of the hanging rails out of nowhere and the "Breath of the Wild" style focus but it ended up working pretty nicely for the Sonic gameplay loop, making the game totally addictive as the best open world games are able to do.

On the negative side, the pop in is ridiculous in all islands, the cyberspace levels end before you can even enjoy them and, as usual, sometimes Sonic controls in 3d like ass. Overall, this was a very enjoyable game!

Just more Coffee Talk, even with its previous flaws and strengths. The returning cast is welcomed alongside the new characters, although it helps with the feeling that there's nothing much new to enjoy in this title.

As with cozy games like this, it all depends on the mood you are in when playing and this was a perfect two nights game.

I don't have the skill to beat this but it's one of the games that I can give a high score to a game I'm unable to beat. A fantastic soundtrack with great moments that are quite impressive to see considering the graphic style and the, seemingly, small scale of it.

However, it's tough as hell and I don't have the skill to beat it even with the several checkpoints and continues you get.

Clunky controls that can sometimes cause frustrating situations while clearing these puzzles with a so-so love story about the breakdown of a relationship. Some of the ideas are really clever but the execution fails some times, specially when jumps are involved.

This zelda-like started super strong with great presentation and unique characters but throughout the half point the pacing starts to drag and the story becomes nonsensical with some clear plot holes and questions that never get answered.

Adding to that, there are some weird difficulty spikes throughout the game that almost made me drop the game several times before powering through them. The game was almost on track to become great but it sadly falls short.

2018

Really beautiful with nice metaphors and a subtle story of loss, acceptance and the stages of grief represented through beautiful colors.

However, since it's a puzzle platformer, some of the platforming can be clunky and make you miss, specially on the later sections when multiple mechanics are combined.
