It's fine I guess. Big ol AAA setpiece heavy game. Not really my thing but its well made and I get why people love it

Took me like 7 years to finally sit down and play this thing to completion. I've previously completed Bloodborne and Elden Ring, and I've attempted DS1 about 5 times but always dropped it at Blighttown. I don't know if I can pick a favorite of the From games I have completed but this one's a strong contender.

Fun game but pales in comparison to zero escape for me, sorry

Liked this one a lot more than the first actually. Still think the puzzle solving is unintuitive and a lil goofy but the characters are enjoyable enough to be worth it

PS5 remaster was my first time playing this game. There's some tedium to it w/the combat but this fuckin slaps! Slept on it way too long

it really is as good as they say

Had a fun time but ultimately feels nonessential. You're really aware you're playing a game made for the PSP even on this modern remaster.

This is one of those games I'll go back and replay every few years. One of the best to ever do it. Would just not play it on Switch again due to a few constant crashes I dealt with.

Its cute and its over quickly but I dont think I could ever recommend this unless you wanna kill a couple hours with a game. IDK go watch a movie or something instead.

Played the fan translated PS2 version. What a game!! One of my fav RPGs of that era, very cozy.

This is my favorite Dragon Quest. I don't think you should let the long runtime scare you, the story is handled in many small vignettes that take 2-4 hours a piece. It's a great game to pick up and play in chunks over a long period of time.

Loved this game as a kid but on a replay I dont think it holds up for me. Its fairly quick and fun but I dunno there aint too much there

This was so much fun to play on launch, completely ignoring the possibility of guides online and just talking it through with friends who were also playing and taking my own notes on it. What an experience

Played on Xbox Series S, whatever port this is is so janky and constantly crashed on me. The game is a pretty fun product of its time but I dont think it has enough going on to be compelling in these days.

If cutscenes were skippable it would get that missing half star because I've spent too many hours of my life watching the pre-Yunalesca fight cutscene.
