i heard this game might be kinda good
It's a point and click with great style and probably a lot of humor, which is just about what I'd want from the genre.
I really liked Sonic Adventure 2, so I picked this one up in the Steam sale. Regardless of how I end up feeling about it, SA1 will certainly be one of the games of all time.

It looks like a pretty interesting test of your memory, and stars a funny little square who learns how terrible it is to work at Amazon. Hooray for Transparency analysis videos I guess
I dunno much about this but you're like stuck on the walls all the time and you bounce around them, it sounds sick.
This is one of those classic games I've missed out on, and seems easier to get into than other FPS games.
As it turns out there's another good Metroid game who would have thought.
Been a while since I've found a full on Fire Emblem hack to try. This one seems to be Thracia inspired which automatically makes it epic. Could use a chance to think about a FE game that isn't Engage, honestly.
I would hope that in terms of SNES RPGs that didn't get released in the West, this isn't one of the ones where its only appeal is being a SNES RPG that didn't get released in the West. You know what I mean right? But hey the 3D cylinder world thing does look pretty cool.

This is one of those games where it's more like "how have i not played this yet?"
Oh yeah, this is another one of those "yeah this is good you should play this" games. I heard it was kind of janky so I won't feel too bad skipping to Mother 3 after giving it a shot.
It's another point and click, but with a higher chance of funny fish
The boxart is primary "pics that go hard" material. It's a Metroidvania too apparently? Good find from the Epic Games deal. Well, it probably won't even run on my computer. Whatever.
This is like, a Mexico-themed Metroidvania? I think it was a fairly prolific indie game but I haven't heard much of it in forever so who knows what it's like
I liked Hades a lot, and back here Supergiant mixed basketball with, as one friend would put it, "Fire Emblem but with good writing".
Apparently as far as 2D Sonic fangames go, this is one of the best. Never gave these a shot but this one is probably worth it. Can't compare to the real best 2D Sonic starring Peppino Spaghetti though.
Don't really know what's up with this one beyond the whole stealth idea. Never been much for first person games but this one seems interesting.
This game will probably be miserable to play. Seems to coincide pretty well with that sort of Fallout atmosphere, so maybe it'll be worth taking a look at. I've heard good things about New Vegas but honestly I couldn't get past the intro and refunded it to get some other stuff in a Steam sale.
Oh yeah I have this now, and it's like those other games I like. The vibes also do seem very funny, admittedly.
This looks like a weird game that will focus on an interesting story. It'll definitely be worth a look at, and is probably one of the more interesting things I can find from the old deluge of Epic Games freebies.
I think this will end up being the roguelike of all time. Pretty much everything you'd expect out of a fleshed out roguelike. also i hate the thing about roguelike and roguelite shut up nerds 🤓
I got this from an itch bundle a while back, and it seems to be a competent scrimbly platformer. Also, it has a grappling hook, which will probably make it epic. Shoutouts to Umihara Kawase despite not being relevant at all
I'm too lazy to think of anything good so have another mediocre obscure DS RPG sitting in the back of my skull for a decade.
I think I played this once on one of those sketchy ROM sites. Link's Awakening was great and these seem pretty similar. Although I guess this comes on the technicality that it could possibly not go onto NSO in 2023.

Update: One of them was fine but unremarkable and the other was very not good. So not exactly that much of a necessity to try out, really.

I played Live A Live and Touhou Luna Nights back to back this year, this is predestined by fate. Plus this is the rawest game of all time from the title alone.

Game Boy games go way too hard, this one in particular seems very funny. For the record, I'm just gonna get a fan translation, not the NSO one. I would prefer reading in the text based video game.

I haven't gotten around to any of the games by people on this site. I do know that Archagent leans towards games that have genuine questions to ask, so I'm definitely interesting in seeing what this game brings up.

I would love to become one of the terrifying individuals that loves Metroid 2 on Game Boy. Although I remember not liking Samus Returns anyways, so maybe it really will be time for the Metroid 2 Sweep.

Never should have watched that Hazel video because the rabbit hole of DS RPGs with idiot girlboss protags goes deeper than My World, My Way I guess.
For real though, it's a mystery dungeon game, and it's hard to go wrong with those. It's moreso here as something to play on my definitely not a phone DS I bring around with me.
Update: yeah it's alright, pretty funny at points. the mystery dungeoning is a lot more restricted with your moves than the pokemon ones but that also incentivizes you to cook with the items youve got
