Great list idea! I've successfully recommended Katamari Damacy (or one of its sequels) to new gamers.

Ravenlok is one that I haven't actually recommended yet but the whole time I was playing it I was thinking it would be a great introduction to third-person camera games, because the camera is somewhat constrained meaning you can't even "lose" yourself or get the camera in some wild position. It's also just a really simple straightforward game.

Are you taking suggestions?

Ace Attorney 1, Plants vs Zombies 1, Robot DIR.

Have had success with Pikuniku and Toki Tori 2 for children

This is a really cool idea! I think both Lil Gator Game and Kirby's Adventure are perfect introductions to the platformer and adventure genre for pretty much everyone, and I think they would really fit here.

Wandersong would probably fit on this list too.
