Decided to go back and finally beat this after finishing 2, it's still really good, though 2 definitely features some QoL upgrades. Still an amazing title despite how difficult it is.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an interesting sequel, because it both surpasses and lags behind the first game in regards to certain elements.

Regardless, a worthy entry in the Mario series and a fun time.

A solid remake of a classic JRPG, it's nice to see it finally brought to the US.

Unfortunately the localization is pretty shit in a lot of parts, including but not limited to completely mistranslating the end of one of the chapters so the ending has a completely different impact and message. Pretty disappointed in that, but had fun regardless.

Legitimately a lot of fun if you like trivia.

Pretty good remake of a classic platformer. It's honestly pretty interesting seeing a Japanese team remake and reimagine an American-developed platformer, as it's a bit of a blend of both aesthetics and design directions.

I hope this game leads to a remake of Pac-Man World 2, or even a new 3D Pac-Man platformer.

Probably my favorite of the Wario Land series. Something I like from it is that the enemies and locations feel at home in Mario's world, something the later series branch away from a bit.

This might be my favorite out of the trilogy? I'm honestly not sure, but it's just as good as the first game and is definitely worth playing.

A great followup to a classic game. The story and world are expended on a lot more than the original, which is nice.
