After finishing Yakuza 7, I was left without any other Yakuza game to play, so I went looking for something similar and found this game. Let me tell you, it's a great find. Just like everyone says, the missions are repetitive, and not just the tailing missions; the game itself has repetitive parts in gameplay. However, the story of this game is really good, and the dynamic between the two main characters is excellent.

A very fun and chill one day game . Something in me loves those games where you're a bartender and spend time chatting with customers while making drinks, especially when your clients are interesting characters. There's not much more to say, it's a great game!

Yakuza 0 was a massive surprise for me. I started this saga with no expectations, and this game sold me 100% on its world. The amount of memorable scenes in this game that you still remember after months and months of playing is absurd. If I have one recommendation, it's to play this game before the first one, even though it was released later in real life. It takes place before the first one and will greatly enhance your experience of it. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best Yakuza game, competing with 6 and 7 for that title. It's the peak game of the series.

It's hard to give a concrete opinion on this Yakuza game, unlike Yakuza 3, which was obviously bad, or Yakuza 0, which was very good. This game was okay. The plot was interesting but nothing extraordinary, and the new characters lacked charisma. It's a good game, for sure, but it's not a memorable one.

The game was so close to being the first good AC in years, until about halfway through the game I was loving it: charismatic characters, incredibly well-executed theme. I was genuinely interested in what was going to happen. But then, in the end, they threw it all away, and as if it couldn't get any worse, the ending managed to make everything even worse. I really wanted to defend the new ACs, but it's complicated. But, aside from literally the last chapter or arc of the game, it was very good. Even the various bugs that plague Ubisoft games, at least with me, they didn't show up in this game. With that said, it remains the best AC since Syndicate.

The best game of the three, for sure. They ended the serie on a high note (at least this 'arc'). The music and combat were good, as always, but different from the others. This one actually had a cool story to go with it

The game was full of bugs, and even when I tried to brute force my way through the game cuz they said that the story was peak, the story was not peak. The characters were really mid, and while the idea of the world was cool, the execution was bad. Giving it half a star is probably a little too harsh, but I was hyped for this game, and it was bad.

A one-day game with an incredible concept that was very well executed, with a really cool story to go along with it. A goated game for sure.

Really enjoyed it when i played the osts slaps till this day.All the routes are really fun and different it became so famous for a reason.

I was hyped for this game and I have no doubt that the story probably improve but I was already in the middle of the game and having to keep walking to deliver things was really annoying, the meme about being a postman is definitely real, but if you like games very slow exploration I would recommend this but it's definitely not my style of game

peak DMC game right here gameplay and story incredible and the music on this one is absurd

short VN,life long trauma
(but it is very good, hard to explain why its a strange story but good one )

I don't know how it's possible, but this game took everything they did in the first one and threw it out the window. The combat was changed; there were some improvements, but basically demons became very useless, and they added special powers depending on the weapon, which hardly changes anything in combat. The story of the game was just horrible this time around; there were several new characters with no charisma at all, and even the characters that had charisma in the first one had much less shine in this one. The main villain of the plot is interesting at first until he becomes unbearable too. The final chapter this time also gave the game a boost, but the ending was a mess. You can perfectly understand why they never made a Raidou 3 after this.

Ngl i started thinking that would be a random mid game but boy was i wrong without a doubt i think that this is one of the best indie games that i have played in a while.Since the moment that i started the game i was hooked till the end.Its a one day game very short but very good hard to explain why is good without spoilers but give it a try!

Yakuza 8, for me, is a game that had several errors in its main story. In general, it is still a wonderful game, but there were several parts of the game that were confusing, such as the palekana boss who was supposed to be over 90 years old, this was explained at some point Or is he just muscular at 90? What I'm going to say now is my personal opinion, however, in this game there were many horrible villains, such as the boss of the barrucada, who had everything to be a badass guy, then he goes and the guy pisses himself out of fear, then runs away on a boat and is eaten by a shark. palekana's boss for me is a villain with no motivation and charisma who hides behind the others and tries to kill himself in the end is even more striking when you compare with the other last boss who in comparison is the complete opposite in every way he remains at the top of the tower alone to fight everyone who can get to him because he wants revenge against the yakuza. like the head of the palekana was just a villain, he had no backstory or anything like that, he was just an asshole and nothing more. And Chitose having betrayed Ichiban about 3 times is hard to swallow, and the personalities of the new characters like Eric, who was a coward at times and out of nowhere, as if they pressed a button and he became a badass guy.
That being said, the bad parts of the game are entirely on Ichiban's side of the story, Kiryu's side was amazing, a great ending to the story, very exciting and the memories you get in the game are very cool, including the events of Date meeting old characters again, it was very cool and the ending made me cry.Compared to yakuza 6 and yakuza 7 which were peak games this one took the level down a bit but it's still an incredible game that is definitely worth playing
