Skipped the dialogue and had tons of fun!

Serviceable game, that's quick and maybe a little too easy. I had fun with it, but loses some of the originals charm. Would've loved a classic graphics mode to switch to and maybe a new mode. Still I think it's at least worth a recommend because its a very hard game to find at least physically and this is a nice accessible way to enjoy a classic.

Never stops being being fun. The exploration is incredible and the art design impeccable.

Kirby's first adventure with copy abilities is so much fun! First off the graphics are stellar on the NES. Obviously this deep into the NES lifespan they knew how to get the most out of the console. Bright colors and cheery songs makes for one of the best sounding and looking games on the console. Plays incredibly well and controls how you would expect a Kirby game to play, framerate is major issue on this one though. Consistently dropping in major areas, but on the NES I find it a little more forgivable. Still is a great game for Kirby really setting up the Kirby that we expect later down the line. Only taking around 4 hours to beat I think it's one you have to try and stands the test of time.

Short, easy, and really cute. Its crazy that Kirby's first outing doesn't have power stealing, but still retains the floatiness. As a basic sidescroller you can't go wrong really, especially on the Game Boy.

Love the amount of customization in this game, the ability to move powers to other forms adds a level of creativity that makes you feel like you are in complete control of how well you are going to do. Once you find your build you are pretty set but I do like that it does want you to go outside your comfort zone and try out new builds. It has a fun look and maybe a story that is easy to skip but let's be honest the gameplay on this one is so strong that it's a great time.

First time running through this and I found a really solid platformer. It's that badge of Crash and Banjo, a collectathon but light on collectables. The world is colorful and unique. Daxter is annoying but feels like a product of its time. Solid controls and most of the levels being tight and compact but maze like to feel deep. Only the last few levels feel like a chore stopping me from loving it, but its still a great game.

Short and fun point-and-click. I love the look and the role you get to play, not the usual gaming protagonist.

I can sort of forgive this game with its low-budget charm, but it's undeniably unattractive. The plot, while intriguing, can't save it from feeling like a basic walking sim.

If you skip all of the lame writing you might actually have fun!

Solid PSP racer but the lack of a career mode is depressing.

Played this because it was a part of the 1001 games to play before you die. Reading the book it seems like
when this was written in 2010 the idea of touch phone games was a pretty novel idea and starting to make waves and this game was one of those early phone game choices. I think it's worthy of it though because it
encapsulates what is so addictive about games like this. Short, simple, and easy to understand. Let me tell you how much I didn't think I'd care about this game but it actually was quite a bit of fun. Making plane connections when the screen gets so many flights is intensely enjoyable. There isn't a lot of substance here and I would not include it on the list now over 10 years later but it's still a great time.

Really enjoyed the aesthetic, story , and adventure style gameplay of this one. One of the few games that I've played where the humor is actually somewhat funny. I'd actually rate this higher but I had four achievements not pop up while I was playing when they should have which is annoying as hell when going for 100%.

Kirby has his first spin off game with only having two games out in the span of two years. Kind of nuts, but unfortunately its not a great outing. Relentless pinball game mixed with annoying screen transitions makes for a not too fun experience. When you get going it feels good, but dropping one level after so much work is killer. With not all that much to look at its not as engaging to keep trying. It at least plays well and it looks cute for a Game Boy game, but its not a must play Kirby game.

The Last Story is a name that gives off a swan song connotation and The Last Story definitely can be described as a swan song. Releasing on the Wii in its twilight years, the same year as the Wii U's release and also being Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's attempt to make an important game after the commercial failures of Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.. Now does it live up to any type of reputation as a swan song, only in its strong gameplay core otherwise I can't say it's anything truly amazing. The story is a bit bland and the graphics are pretty, but there's a considerable slowdown. The combat is interesting and so much fun. Making up for blandness with combat sections that flow perfectly, I honestly wish there was more it. Not a bad game overall and it's quite fun but nothing incredible.
