this game's bad but in a very beautiful way.
I had a feeling I wouldn't love Melee as much as others but I was still sorta let down..
Everyone talks up how good the movement is; calling it the greatest in gaming by a long shot..... bleh. It feels pretty good but the movement itself isn't super crazy for a casual player like me. I kinda was expected the base game to be more I guess :p
As a casual who just likes to cheel, I'd rather play Ultimate... sorry. Melee isn't bad and the pro scene is cool but it's nothing amazing if you don't wanna learn advanced stuffs.

The combat is kinda cool, especially with Vergil… but it’s not good enough for me to put in multiple hours of my time. The character little quips and dialogue on the Nero/Dante/V side were so corny LOL
Maybe I return to DMC 5 in the future.. but not any time soon sadly.

I decided to try out this game because I really wanted smthn new to play around Christmas. That and the anime made me a little interested.
I'm so confused ?!
While playing, I was thinking I defos enjoyed the game
butttt Towards the end and after i finished, I just cannot find a reason for why I was able to sink in 25 hours????
The gameplay is not good or bad and it's not like the story is very good either so... idk LOL
One thing I know for sure is that the ending is... very weird. I was just playing the game and all of the sudden I was at the end somehow??? The final mission itself is so... idk it literally just kinda happens and the credits start to roll!!!!!!
I gave it a 3/5 which feels accurate but I can't explain why I liked it enough to be that high. It was just kinda silly outside the whatever parts.
I dunnaur, I'm confused.
It's an okay game at the very least I think! Defos not worth $60 or it's new price of $40 though (I got it for $15 so slay)!

aaaaa what a bad impulse purchase!!
i bought guilty gear because the aesthetic and characters are amazing.. but that’s about all i can appreciate with this game!
the controls are fucking horrendous, actually just fucking terrible. i tried so many different button layouts and hated them all. it feels like shit to play.

I don't mind the glitches, frame drops, or bad graphics so...... I REALLY like this game!!
They got so much right this generation.
I love so many of the new Pokémon, many of them are already favorites of all time. I had so much trouble finding enough Pokémon I liked to use on my SwSh team, this time I was able to use all new Pokémon!
The open world is really fun to explore.... even though it's kinda plain. Idk I just really like running around on my silly little Toothless dragon and catching friends!!
Overall there were so many little things they did that just made this game work. Ofc graphics and shit need to be better but oh well!!
My only issues with this game are Penny and Geeta.... worst character in the series along with the worst Champion LOL.

Fun little story! I’m usually not the biggest fan of choice based games but it made TWD more enjoyable for me. Chapter 2 really impressed me and 5 was a solid ending for the game.
Some things could’ve been better. For example; the cast is pretty meh outside of Lee and Clem & sometimes the story loses itself.
The Walking Dead isn’t perfect but it was really fun to play & have my girlfriend watch!

My new favorite game of all time!!
I'll get the "bad" out of the way first. Some of the fodder enemies felt wayyyy too strong, as in they had a lot of health. Idc about these random Hel Walkers just let me play!!
The first fight vs Thor was also kinda... better than the second.. which is fine with me idk both were fun. Thor as a character had more potential but I still really like him at the end of the day. I did also notice people complaining about the characters giving too many hints which... I personally do not care about in the slightest!
The voice acting, soundtrack, and visuals were nothing short of amazing. Some of the best in each of their respective categories!
I went into Ragnarok expecting Thor to be the the best villain but,,, Odin is an AMAZING main antagonist omg! The presentation, motive, and dialogue were all far better than I ever imagined we'd get with him. His dynamic with the protagonists, especially Atreus, was wonderful!
I like the cast so much better overall this time around. Freya is another who really surprised me with how good she was. Very glad to see the Huldra brothers, espeically Sindri, get great scenes this time around too!
Fuckkkkk Atreus is so good. The fact that we got to play as him for a little less than half the game was so swag and helped a lot for development of his characters and the games themes. His Dynamic with Kratos this time around was beautiful.

Like I said, their dynamic is AMAZING! One of my favorites I've ever seen across all mediums for sure. I absolutely loved every scene with them and had no issues whatsoever with their development. Kratos couldn't have asked for a better man to call his son and vice versa.
Kratos himself was fucking outstanding. Killed it all round. Kratos before was just a vengeful badass, but by the end of this game his character an incredibly written story about fatherhood and masculinity, fucking beautiful! I usually don't care much or even like stories about those themes at all (personal reasons) but wow Kratos is just too good!!
I didn't think a video game character would make my BEST characters list but here we are!!
Never in a million years would did I believe a video game would pass Minecraft, which I've loved deeply for a decade, and Danganronpa, which I have so much personal attachment too, but here I am.
God of War is not only my favorite video game of all time, but the best in its medium by miles. There's so much more I can say about this game but I'll leave it here for now!

This game got very boring.... until the end. The entire ending sequence after level 19 was pretty swag and saved Portals score from being lower than it is now.
Even though I thought the game was pretty meh for the most part, I'm defos looking forward tom playing Portal 2 with my gf!!
