If game came out today as it is, it could get a 4 stars. However, knowing what came before it just shows how corporate greed can kill an entire franchise.

The fact you can see chunks fall out of enemies when you hit them makes every bullet even from the assault rifle feel like it's a fucking missile.

+Mick solos once again

I love and hate this game. I can't help but see the many faults in the game design, but I also can't help but obsess over its insanely good story and soundtrack.

Cool story and late game gameplay. The fact you can get downed so easily makes it so you have to try even when strong.
However, sometimes just shooting and running around for so long with the same guns and the same enemies can get boring after a few hours.

2018

One of the most beautiful games I've had to the fortune of playing, the sound effect for leaving water is way too loud though

Gameplay is 10x better than previous title. But unfortunately got a lackluster finale.

Peak nonetheless

Extremely revolutionary for its time.
Arcade-y feel mixed with great ambience and horror.
If only I could play it again for the first time.

2016

Mick Gordon solos.

Genuinely fun to be able to brute force in a shooter game.

This game was one of the most immersive, fun and chaotic mindfucks that I've ever played. Can't wait for the dlc.

The arcade feel, gore and story are so unique that I can't help but obsess for a month straight over the game.

Environmental storytelling at its finest.

One can only dream for an update.

Icon of platformers. Ridiculously difficult, some bugs really annoy me.
