Damn the way this game was presented is very well done, while I thought the first Alan wake was just an ok game, this one was amazing, this is also a hard game to spoil when it comes to story, the story was more interesting in this game than it was in the first Alan wake, the worldbuilding and narrative are well crafted, overall great game, loved it.

i remember buying this game on sale on steam around 2016 (yes really), and just never decided to play it. Then i completely forgot about, reminded it existed, just didnt play it. AND FINALLY i sat down and played the game through. I CANT BELIEVE IT TOOK ME THIS LONG TO PLAY THIS GAME!!! Every single decision you make in this game can impact the game, its amazing how they pulled that off. The conflicts with the factions and your story in general. world has so much depth to it, I'm literally mad at myself for taking so long to play this amazing game.

Tighter Controls, new movements, level design is fantastic, collectables and upgrades across the levels as well, great boss fights, great mega man game
the story is really good but the gameplay is super repetitive. This game really feels budgeted, its not really a bad game but its one for the fans. Its also short for a final fantasy game

This is FromSoft level of quality in a souls like game, Combat is very engaging, boss design while difficult i think are completely fair, i also enjoyed the story in this game, game just gets a better and better, probably game of the year for me
i really admire how much personality is in this game, not to mention the soundtrack is just beautiful
i was sad, then i was happy, then i was sad again :(

gameplay wise im impressed, controls are a bit tanky, it doesnt play like the ps1 resident evil games, plays like a 3rd person horror game, for its time at least. Game isnt as cryptic as i expected, it is at times, but this game is old so guides you can find online REALLY HELPED. Area is atmospheric. Finally the story is great and is pretty much the experience. Good game, another retro game off the backlog, im glad i gave it a chance.

now this game has its qualities, it also has its flaws, the enemy placement in this game is not well thought out. and the camera lock on isnt good, combat feels good, bosses are hit or miss, their either to easy or just unfair. Visuals are amazing, but the further you get into the game, the more flaws you start to notice, for the average souls fan you MIGHT enjoy this game, id recommend getting it on sale.
Im honestly impressed with what they were able to do with a smaller roster of villain's. Not just that i didnt even know it was possible to make previous game mechanics better, but somehow they pulled it off, the web winging feels so good here. The Story is very enjoyable but it was also kinda predictable, gameplay is another step forward, Spectacular Game, i have no idea how they are gonna top this, but at the same time i said the same thing with the ps4 spider-man game.

yeah its to grindy, not just that but comparing it to other forza motorsport games it feels like it lacks in many areas. where did the 6 years of dev time go??

for a game where you just take pictures of unique things around you, im amazed on how i felt about the at the end, really relaxing game
