You wanna know whats really crazy? Just think of how much is going on in MGS2 as a game. The AI systems, the complexity of mechanics, the variety of unique interactions, and even the quantity of random details. This game was made in 2001, why does it feel like games are somehow less impressive 20+ years later?

Although of course I couldnt intellectualize it, I think even as a young 7 year old I still somehow knew there was something special about this game, some element about it that was striking in a way that other games werent. I then spent 10 hours blowing guards up with C4.

Funniest thing right. So this game made by the fans for fans was highly rated as one of if not the best 2D Sonic Game. And when Sonic Forces came out made by Sega not too long later it was horrible.
