I don't think this is a bad game at all it's a lot of fun I think I just vastly prefer F-Zero's gameplay style to this. It can be a little disorienting at times. doesn't stop the beta ost from going so hard though it's so silly

Doesn't hold a candle to it's eventual sequel, but truly was a grand return for such a beloved series. For years the fate of this franchise was in purgatory, until DKCR. If any game were to bring it back I'm glad it was this one.

THIS GAME IS SO MUCH FUN TO PLAYU. One of the best feeling Mario Kart games out there. The gimmick is so unique and cool too??? The character specific items even if a tad annoying is a really cool touch. I wish they'd either make a sequel or revisit the doubles idea in a mode or something in a future game.
also off topic this is one of the very few mario kart games to not include it's console in the name isn't that weird

Older LEGO games just had a very unique and distinct charm to them.

The return of the long abandoned 2D side scroller Mario titles. Despite the modern conscious of the game, it's very out there with it's design and not nearly as 'safe' or 'soulless' as people will lead you to believe. Some of the enemy designs are super strange and really interesting. The level designs are fun and replayable. I loved my time with this

I miss this series and this game is proof it shouldn't be stuck in the past. It could have such a good future man

funnily enough I think this may have been my introduction to Mario as a whole. I think I played this and Kirby's Adventure when I was 4. I mean I can't tell you for SURE I was fucking FOUR but yknow. It's fun though it took me years to beat but when I did i was like lol super mario
