The most immersed I have ever been in a video game. Story and graphics is where it shines the absolute most and I guarantee that no other game could possibly reach the height it does in this. The only little gripe I have with this game is the repetitive quest structure and gameplay which started really feeling like a drag after finishing the main story. However if you're looking to deeply involve yourself in a complex story about loyalty, redemption, mortality, and basically any complex human emotion or concept surrounding what's mentioned, then this is a must-play video game. I never thought myself to play a "cinematic" game but what Rockstar does in this exceeds my expectations for those type of games.

1503 deaths and 125/175 strawberries found in 7 hours and 10 minutes
Fantastic and difficult gameplay that rewards you within some of the coolest level designs that include unique features to them. Story is very touching where you can feel how personal it is and may find yourself relating to it.
I will most likely find myself playing this game again in the future!

A game that I will only ever play with friends. Game hasn't been as good since the game launched. Gameplay changes are way too constant and always for the sake of keeping things balanced by taking away what made characters fun and rewarding to play before. Teamfights are sometimes not fun and a confusing mass to look at. After years of development, it truly feels like the dev. team does not listen to players. Whatever you do, do not spend your money on this game.
Other than the negatives, the game barely goes over my threshold of boredom and I'll play with friends.

Possibly the greatest RPG shooter ever. Story and worldbuilding is one of the best ever and the freedom to do whatever you like puts Bethesda developed Fallout games to shame. Choices also matter heavily in this game. Game is filled to the brim with excellent writing even with sidequests. Yet, game is filled with bugs and some gameplay issues. HOWEVER, some minimal mods make it the smooth experience it should be.

Takes the best features of futuristic FPS campaigns and elevates it with an unrivaled gameplay plus movement combination. Campaign is very short with a good story along with fun dynamics between the two main characters, but the gameplay is what makes it shine and I can't wait to utilize it further in multiplayer.

Impressive art direction and soundtrack are the standouts of this game! The art takes on a blend of styles of Art Nouveau along with cyberpunk aspects with its worldbuilding. Settings and backgrounds are some of my favorite parts when it comes to this. Soundtrack is one to marvel at with how it elevates the game with downtempo and trip hop.
Gameplay mechanics are absolutely amazing with a strong blend of strategy and realtime. Creating a loadout of abilities that you play and adapt yourself to is also one of the most creative parts of the game seeing as there are countless playstyles to abide by. Throughout the game, you recruit new abilities that you can creates countless unique combinations with. The mechanic of Limiters is also commendable for how you can add layers of difficulty for earning more EXP.
Despite all the great praise I have for the game, the gameplay sometimes falls flat due to how undeservingly punishing it can be without it being the player's fault. My biggest issue of this arises from planned attacks not lining up or unable to land all hits which is extremely frustrating and happens far too often. Along with this, the second boss fight suffers due to the reasons stated. Other than that, I can't recommend this game enough.
With unique gameplay, art, and soundtrack, Transistor deserves to be experienced at least once despite with some annoying things that don't take away from the enjoyment of what makes it standout.
