It's pretty much an updated Wild World on console, so your enjoyment kinda depends on how you felt about Wild World.

The dex diversity was really cool, though 5 of my 6 members were from either Kalos or Johto lol. Sadly, the game is really easy and the number of cutscenes isn't justified by the plot. Also the fact that route 14 is blocked until after you beat Clemont is dumb cuz I don't wanna beat Clemont I wanna catch my GOD DAMN QUAGSIRE

Feel similarly here with how I feel about XY, dex diversity good, baby difficulty bad, story not worth sitting through a morbillion cutscenes.

Would be 3 stars cuz of Johto jank but GSC introduced Wooper and Quagsire so it's 5/5.

I played on an emulator so my opinion may be skewed by that but god was this game frustrating, but it still has a lot of Kirby's unique charm so I can't really hate it per se.

It's simple but that works to the game's strength if you just wanna play some FE without a billion strings attached like planning pairings or class lines or other stuff. The writing we do have is pretty good, and the game is pretty quick considering you can skip almost everything if you want. Also the best for ironmans, and reclassing allows for very wacky and fun playstyles.

It's not as satanic as everyone makes it out to be but considering what came before, this game fell off HARD. At least the later sequels still managed to make Paper Mario good despite creative restrictions.

It still struggles from a lot of Sticker Star's issues but the rest is a bit closer to the original trilogy. The game looks great, the world is far more varied as opposed to the New Super Mario Bros. sterlization that was Sticker Star, and the writing is an upgrade too.

It's definitely a bit obsolete due to SSU's excellence but it's still fun. The sound effects for hitting bosses are the true superior aspect though.

The gameplay is definitely the best of the GBA trilogy by a fair margin due to unit variety, actual map design, and some actual difficulty, though there's definitely some annoyances like funny accuracy and most gaiden chapters being a complete pain.

I worshipped the multiplayer here as a young 'un.

Mario Maker with more Mario and more making. Most online levels are poop but that's what you get when you give little Timmy Super Mario Maker 2 for his birthday.

The game gets much tougher in World 3 but that's what separates the childen from the adults.

Take the original and make it a bit more F2P-forgiving and add more content.
