And that's why she's best girl.

Ok, this is my first actual "review" since I just finished this recently.
Pros:
-Zeke.
-The soundtrack is fucking incredible
-How is ties in with the first Xenoblade is really clever and doesn't come off like fanservice.
-The antagonists I actually find slightly more compelling than the first game's villains.
-The environments, like the first, are gorgeous to look at and explore.
-Performing Blade combos is really satisfying.

Cons:
-While the story is excellent, it does take a while to get started.
-Grinding in this felt very tedious, especially with the skill tree.
-While the gacha system doesn't rob you of your money, it still feels tedious to get the actually good blades.
-Like the story, Rex does get better as the game progresses. But Rex is still an inferior protagonist than Shulk. Both in terms of writing and voice acting.

While I slightly prefer the first game, this is still a game that's worth your time. I cannot wait for the third game that's coming out.

A collection of great games, just not a great celebration of these games, if that makes sense.

Adam Howden's performance as Shulk ALONE makes this game worth playing.

The characters and world are great, but the gameplay and gacha system failed to keep me invested. If I want to know what's going on in this game currently, I'll just talk to my friend.

Better than Melee.
You may try to crucify me, but I believe in Science.

Good, but kinda overrated.

Wait, why is there a protest outside my house?

This review contains spoilers

"This is the truth of our world. Memories melt in the morning light, and then, a new day begins. Roads stretch out before us. So many paths. Which do you choose? That's up to you. Sometimes, you might run astray. You'll stop, maybe cry in frustration. But you know, that's all right. For the roads... they go on without end.

So look up, face forward, toward your chosen horizon. And just... walk on."

This game is never gonna die is it?

Back when things were simple and clean.

This has Ferdinand von Aegir, 10/10.
