I feel blessed to have been able to play this game.

What an wonderful experience.
They've put so much love and care into it. The characters and world have so much LIFE to them.
I cried many, many times.

Absolutely one of my favourite games.

For me, this game was a treat that I could not tear myself away from. The original FF7 is a favorite, and this surpassed it for me.

I can easily see how this game would be tiring for many. The open world, litany of side content (hit or miss), and the absolute wealth of mini games is bonkers. Personally, I found myself engaged with each one and appreciating how they adapted and adjusted the story, making me fall deeper in love with characters I mostly was neutral on in the original release.

Combat for me was a solid improvement over Remake, giving you more tools and utilities to make it exciting and rewarding for knowing what is at your disposal.

Queens Blood is now the best card game in Final Fantasy. Sorry Triple Triad.

The nostalgia. I will never forget the portrait of Peach that turns into Bowser as you get closer, it was kinda scary as a kid.

Fun times with family. Most of the time my older siblings would only let me be player 2, so I only got to watch and collect the bits for them every now and then. It's pretty fun replaying it now, kinda wish I had a younger sibling to collect the bits for me. The soundtrack is amazing. I still remember all the little sound effects. The hungry lumas were one of my favorite parts of the game 😆 "Transfoooooooorrrrrrm!"

what was up with them only giving this game like 2 post game updates and going extremely hard with a world creator in the last one... just to cut support right after

so weird

but the creativity I have seen in this game is insane

A project that oozes passion and creativity in such a beautiful way; one of the most unique gaming experiences I have ever had

metal gear?

MGS1 has been praised to hell and back and it deserves every single one of those praises.
From the voice acting, to the cinematography, the music, its revolutionary gameplay, you can tell every single part of this game was made with passion and love.

loooove how the 4th wall breaks make you feel more connected to Snake, as if the player himself is a part of this story.
Reading the back of the box to see Meryl’s codec number, switching controller ports, Psycho Mantis reading your saved data and even Liquid calling Snake and the player out about them “enjoying all the killing”, they all serve their own purpose and add up to this feeling of the player having more impact on the story and gameplay.

loved watching my dad play it when i was kid

saucy jack debuts on the big screen

Scary how well this game aged…
The pinnacle of the Metal Gear series, a perfect sequel and my favorite game.

Take everything MGS1 did and make it even better, to the gameplay, the fantastic graphics, a hell of a soundtrack (Yell Dead Cell is stuck on my brain 24/7) and the peak writing, MGS2 redefined for me what a sequel should be, taking every single advantage and opportunity of being one to further strengthen its core themes.

i told ya i loveeed the 4th wall breaks in the MGS1 review… but holy shit they went all out in this one, pulling every single dirty trick they could just so the player can feel as confused and disoriented as Raiden.
The player himself was involved in MGS1 but in this one? We are playing as Raiden and we are quite literally Raiden, the rookie who got just got done playing MGS1 through VR missions and is “ready for the real thing”.

A DUD⁉️

people come and they go…

my first persona experience and god what a game…

-soundtrack is top tier
-amazing and well acted characters
-moment to moment gameplay is great ( love persona negotiations)
- UI is the definition of style

it would have been perfect for me, if not for a few questionable romance decisions and some classic atlus writing
