Recommend and Review! - FrozenRoy Edition
Why not get this started? It's a trend I've seen a lot and I think it's a cool one, so I'm gonna join in (tho I dunno if I got enough popularity to make a strong list lol). Pretty much the same rules as everyone else, but I'll make a few notes here on general guidelines:
- Given 2021 is almost over, odds are most of these will be done over the course of 2022 if not all of them. Sorry if it takes a while!
- I'm not putting any hard limits on the number of games you can recommend, but try to keep it reasonable. I also might not put games on for one reason or another, feel free to offer up something else if I don't.
- Systems I can emulate well include NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis (and all the add-ons), Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Sega Game Gear and PSP. I should also be able to emulate 3DS, PS1, Gamecube, Wii, Dreamcast and Saturn but I've yet to actually do more than boot games up on them so untested.
- The only modern systems I have are the Nintendo Switch and my PC, which is a bit low end but functional enough for a bunch of games. I'm pretty poor, so if you suggest a game that I don't own and can't emulate I might be unable to play it. Apologies if that happens!
- It doesn't matter if the game you suggest is on my backlog or not as long as I am able to play it.
- Review length may vary because I don't always have a lot to say about a game.

Fire emblem fates revelations
DOOM (1993). One word of advice, don't play the game as-is on whichever storefront you buy it, get a source port (I reccomend CrispyDoom or PrBoom+). It's a bit more work but 100% worth it in the end
@chap And here I planned to do Conquest first before, guess the plan's changed XD
@Tauranoro I'll look into it, no promises though (I know a friend who has played like 300 DOOM mods or some shit, I'll probably ask them about it and setting it up if I do)

ooh interested in beholder
Live A Live is a short RPG broken up into more easily digestible segments with its own protagonist, gimmick, and short plot. It's hands down one of my favorite games of all time. Etrian Odyssey 4 (or 3!) is another worth looking into, but would be a much larger time investment, so it's understandable if you want to take a rain check on that.
Astro Boy: Omega Factor (2003).
Devil May Cry (2001)
Ooooh, Devil May Cry! I've been meaning to play that for a while, although I had planned to do DMC3 -> DMC1, but I can still do that or just start with DMC1. Exciting!
Super Auto Pets, it's free and I will never stop shilling it
Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse
Im gonna throw in three odd ones. Two short, one more lengthy.
Retro Game Challenge (DS)
Carries Order Up (PC)
* The Witch's House (PC - There is a remake on steam called 'The Witch's House MV' but just stick with the freeware version, the new one doesnt add enough to really be worth quite the amount its asking for)

Darius Gaiden. You can emulate the Saturn version, or buy the Darius Cozmic Collection on Switch (or Steam in a couple days)
- Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
- Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
- Bayonetta

- Bayonetta
@Bruh_Moment_7: Just note I might not be able to get to Bayonetta depending on if I can buy it!
Azure Dreams seems up your alley!
Alien Soldier (jpn rom)
The japanese version is on Sega Genesis Collection, right?
I'd recommend using another emulator since the Genesis Collection is notoriously infamous for having bad input lag but you can drag and drop the JPN rom in it and play it. The rom avaliable on Steam is the PAL version unfortunately.
I haven't really had any input lag issues with it, but I'll keep that in mind.
Stuart Little (GBA) - No explanation needed
Gris (PC, Switch) - One of my all time favorite games as an art form and basically nobody I know has played it to share thoughts, also not a particularly long game
Hat in Time (Everything modern basically) - Switch version comes baked in with all DLC but PC has mods, very fun platformer that feels like a Gamecube game
Fire Emblem Echoes (3DS): My personal favorite FE thanks to the production value and distinct gameplay. Best way of handling a route split in the series
