Going into this game after having it in my library for so long and reading a bit of it just to get an idea out of the two screenshots i saw two years ago made me a bit happy, "oh boy so its a stealth game?" not really "and also an immersive sim?" maybe. My butt feels kind of sore now after just going through a miserable 4 missions but that's the general aftertaste this game gives me, the aftermath of being anally molested by a vomit made slime, leaving aside its general aesthetic and the theme of the game, that have already been said in these backloggd reviews, this barely feels like an stealth oriented game and an immersive sim. yes having a silenced weapon is fun but if the only "tactical stealth" elements that your game incorporates at the start are shoot before they see you, and a barely working uh... visibility indicator? that shows up randomly then... i can only smile at you awkwardly...

Not finishing this.

Im kind of glad we left this type of gameplay style in the past, and with the uninspired, not visually appealing UI design (its not like its any better than the standardized boring UI designs of nowadays) it just lefts me with no desire to get past the start.

It's a kick in the balls that a rhythm game doesnt let you choose a difficulty the moment the rhythm game part starts, which makes me think if this is a visual novel bundled with an extra rhythm game part or a rhythm game bundled with an extra visual novel part.
tldr: uninstalled, glad i pirated it

Everything about this looks visually like shit and its sad that i've gotten to the point of praising something because "it looks ass" and i laugh about it, its like laughing as a kid because because your teacher said "penis" or "vagina", now i dont even know where im getting at with what im saying but is JUST LIKE IN THIS GAME, no i dont want arrows, i dont want to be handheld to where i have to go, but the fact that this gives me the same feeling as [insert empty sandbox openworld] speaks volumes for me so the shelved games it goes, i'll pick you up some day again baby because there's still something in you i could dig up...

I love when rpgs absolutely mog me for my shitty stat distribution but im not doing a 3rd run sorry

Also the magic gimmick is fun when you're not being pressured to cast them at the speed of light because an enemy is crushing hard, but it is fun to cast!

This port is ass, wont even bother with the next ones despite 5 being my favorite.

Better than the shitty KID A thing from epic fuck /mu/core

I actually think the gameplay is worse 🤓

I always liked how remedy games have this sense of rush, going straight to the objective, what the game wants you to achieve, instead control gives you it's premise, and then it adds a maze within itself which makes you backtrack, look for other stuff; you never go straight to what the game wants to get to. "yeah i want my brother but sure let me get this thing finished first, oh wait i'll finish this other thing oh wait-"yadda yadda. ALRIGHT i dont mind it but i really dont think it fits with how remedy's general storytelling works.

Gunplay progression is fun as FUCK, fuck, and due to a bunch of friend's with high autistic enjoyment of brutalism i appreciated the general look of control.

I will probably finish this some other time, i dont feel like rushing this but i also dont feel like playing it.

bethesda is a fucking joke not even mods save this shit xbox 360 nostalgia will blind you all pseudo rpg lovers

Soylent inducing, at least the final event was cool.

they nerfed the Medallions and the storm, now it feels like any other season but with bullet drop

I guess it's time to replay it... RIP
"A bit closer to heaven."
